    Hi All,

Due to some personal urgency applied Bridging visa B for travel to home country which is approved same day.Next day CO requested some documents to process my visa documents submitted same day.  (186 TRT applied in June .Nomination approved already)

Question is that:  1 . Due to apply Bridging visa B is there any impact/delay on my application process?

                                   2. In Best /avg case when can i expect outcome of my application result?

    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi Srims,

    1. There won't be any delay or impact on your visa application. From my personal experience, when I had to go overseas on a Bridging visa B I got an outcome when I wasn't in Australia. You can travel to your home country with no worries.

    2. On this forum, they say that the average is 35 days but unfortunately, every case is different so we can only hope for the best.

    Occupation: Internal Auditor (NSW)

Applied for both nomination & visa application: 10 December 2018 (FYI, my 457 expired on 11 Dec so I had little time to apply)

    Nomination granted: 5 February 2019

    Visa granted: 8 February 2019

Hi all, I have been lurking here from time to time, but sharing some good news as I received my grant only 2 months after application. I was shocked when I found out - I had fully expected I wouldn't hear anything until later this year & planned accordingly (no travel plans etc). I wanted to apply for 189 a few years back but my skill assessment was denied. As a background info, I have been on 457 for 4+ years and work in education sector. I had gotten my Australian police check & health check and wasn't contacted for further info.

I have lived here for 10 years (!!) and nearly every visa application has been stressful with tight deadlines and paperwork hurdles so this has been bittersweet.

All the best to those who are waiting for their good news 🙂

wow that's awesome!! have you applied through well known MA?

    Congrats

    Hi Guys,

I want to let you know that my nomination is approved.

    Occupation: software engineer

    Nomination/VISA Applied date: 27th, Sep, 2018

Nomination approved date:  1th March, 2019.

    VISA: pending

I applied nomination and visa at the same time, however i have not completed police check and body examination. I really should do that earlier as I might have seen visa grant at the same time. Damn.

@Aron is it DE or TRT?

As I said before, Because our last medical is still in the system with last HAP ID and it shows No action required. So we cannot generate a new code.Immigration has to give us a new code.I'm trying to do this before CO opens our application to avoid any delay after ,but Immigration says we should wait till case officer opens it and give us a new HAP ID and they cannot do this in advance.

I am in exactly the same situation as you @SAJ.N and our MA told us that we need to wait as there is an option that we won't even have to redo it.

    We chose to wait.

Does anybody know if we can redo medicals while the status in our application is No action required ? Just wondering is there any option that case officer won't ask for a new medical ?

We had a nomination refusal in the past and our medical exam has done in 2017 and already expired and I suppose that they still have this in the system and that's why it shows no action required and due to this, I am not able to get a new HAP ID.

We are going overseas end of March and I just want to avoid any delay while we are on holidays!

    I appreciate any advice.

Hey SAJ.N, just a quick question.

I thought that if you got a refusal before, the new bridging visa you get is a C type. This is what our MA told us and this is what we got as well so we can't travel overseas.

    Can you please advise?

Hello guys can I ask you one thing I have launched my visa on 2nd July and they guys open the august ,November files .is anything wrong my file or they pick the file randomly.I have uploaded all the documents when I launch my application. Thanks

There is nothing wrong with your application. Please read over the last few pages as there was a lot of ideas why some people are getting processed faster.

In August SAAF levy has been introduced and we can only suspect that it has an impact on it.

    Hey guys,

Unfortunately, nomination was refused on the basis of unable to support my salary. This is despite not missing a pay run for a year, and even a pay increase due to hit KPIs. This is mainly as the company is a start-up, so I can understand where the case officer is coming from, but obviously frustrating. Currently looking at options of appeal or partner (thanks @Nora)

Second nomination refusal, which is a gut-punch. Thanks for all the support, and 85% of the content here really helped. Hope everyone get's their visas soon!

Hi @sbrowne9. I really know what you feel. Been there, done that. We decided to withdraw the application and reapply. We had our nomination rejected because of the same reason as you. Don't give up and I'll keep fingers crossed for you!

    Hi,

Just joined because i need to do something. We applied back in March 2017! It's been 23 months and no idea why it's taking so long. Don't feel i can trust my agent and not sure what to do?

    Hi Chris,

That's insane, I know. What is your occupation? Could you please update your signature with the visa details so we know your situation?

A Bridging visa C can also come with a no work condition.  I think it is granted with no work condition but you can apply for this to be lifted if financial hardship etc is shown - think there is a form .  Yes best to talk to your MA though! good luck - hopefully you will get your PR through before you need to worry about the new application etc...

I am on Bridging visa C now and it came only with the condition that I can't leave Australia. I still can work and study.

EDIT: I can leave Australia but I can't return 🙂

Yeah it's supposed to be like this but we don't have a new HAP ID and in the IMMI shows as document received and no action is required.

Even agent said he doesn't know why it shows as received .

So we got a refusal as well in 2018 and we only did our medicals for this application. When we withdraw the refused application and applied again, our medicals renew automatically.

I don't know how it exactly works but the expiry date is  6/11/19 even though we did it in Nov 2017.

Hi Natmis, can you share please what was the reason for the refusal?

Basically, they said that the company is not able to be financially stable and pay my partner's salary for the next 2 years. Our MA said that he have never had such a case before because Immi didn't requested any additional documents. Just bad luck I guess but I'm staying positive and hoping for the best now :)!

Hi guys, after waiting for 20 months, I received an email from the immigration last night said our application has heen refused without any reason. They said we have an option of withdrawaling the application in 28 days. Seems like I'm not lucky enough to join you guys in the future.

    Occupation: Chef.

    Direct Entry

    Nomination: 6/2017-1/2019

    Applicant: 4

Wish all the best luck to you guys.

    Hi Andy,

There is definitely the reason they refused your application. I suggest you to speak to your MA.

Our first application got refused in May 2018 and there were some financial reasons to that and we decided to reapply.

    Best of luck!
