I have been a silent reader for quite a while , this forum has been great and very informative , I would like share that my PR has been granted and I am really happy it was quite a journey although no documents asked straight from Recieved to Finalsed. visa nomination : 25 September 2017 nomination approved: 29 th January 2018 visa application : 18 th June 2018 visa approved : 5th March 2019 no of applicants:2 occupation : Electrical Engineer Country : India

You can claim Medicare levy because on 457 we don’t have Medicare card , but only until the time you apply for permanent residency, once you have applied for PR, you can’t claim Medicare levy , because only on the basis of PR application you can have a Medicare card !
