  1. Wow a March 26th Application! Congrats. It's a shame it took your MA almost a month to let you know! Imagine they'd requested additional documents... ____________________ What is the process for importing your Application? My MA has full over sight, I'd like to start refreshing mine every half hour in a month or two haha
  2. Are you joking?! You're very lucky!!! I thought you'd been waiting since early 2017 or something judging by some of your comments haha. Did your MA give any tips on processing times?
  3. MA's will often give worst case scenario with regards to processing times - as you can imagine, they probably have a large clientele, of which a large portion are chasing about waiting times. Realistically, I would expect you, having applied in March, with a low Risk Occupation to have a CO assigned at some point this month, however, it's not guaranteed, and if your MA gave you the same advice I'm sure you'd be adding another email into their Inbox, should you not have a CO assigned this month. I'd say they are just playing it safe, avoiding further follow up from yourself,
  4. I don't think your MA contacting Immigration will really be worth it, they'll probably just give a blanket response. If your health examinations expire on the 20th, and a case officer opens your file after this, it is up to the discretion of the case officer weather or not they ask you to re-take. Some let it go over by a few months / weeks, some may not. Roll of the dice. As they cost a lot of money, you'd hope they'd give a little leeway. Police Check / Health Examinations have 12 months validity.
  5. You don't actually have to prove anything, only in the case that your company reported you to IMMI, or they found out you planned to leave when your VISA was approved. It's a written clause with no legal binding. To my knowledge, IMMI do not need to be notified when you leave with a 186, whilst they do with a 457 Sponsored role for example.
  6. Wow, the Department have really turned up the tempo for the end of January after weeks of dribs and drabs. Hold tight! Congrats all.
  7. Yea Hex - I heard the same. It was just more of a Senior role, just worded strange for in-house use only. I wish my company never even added it to the Application to be honest. The Job Description they sent is exactly the same as ICT Support Engineer - so fingers crossed I don't have issues.
  8. Does anybody have experience with changing Job Titles in their 457 role, then applying for a 186 TRT? Worried the Department might refuse me for the slightest raised eye brow? My MA said the following on the subject; Would anyone be worried?
  9. Sad to see an increase. I guess we can expect some political play from the Liberals with the Federal Election coming up, one of their main driving points will be keeping Immigration numbers down.
  10. Anyone else having issues getting onto > https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-processing-times/global-visa-processing-times Usually happens as they are updating the times.
  11. It looks like you didn't submit Nomination and VISA at the same time, which is pretty common amongst people who have quick approvals. But yea, it is tough to say. There is a lot of factors I'm sure which come into play.
  12. Completely varies, a couple of my friends had Nomination and VISA approved the same day, others it can take a couple of weeks, some even longer.
  13. Processing times have came down in the last few months, and it did feel like momentum was building on the the run up to Christmas, however, things feel like they've slowed right down, and I expect that Processing times will increase when they are updated, which is due anytime now. Still a large number of Feb 18' applications on DE / TRT streams on 'Received' with a handful of March applicants processed, wish I understood why.
  14. Good news for you also, assuming your have the same MA, meaning your nomination paperwork / application should be similar.
  15. Your VISA Lodgement (2 days different) / Occupation is similar to mine. Assuming your job code is? Computer Network & Systems Engineer - 263111 - it's on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). Should get it quicker as your Occupation is available via the Point Skill test, where mine is Grandfathered I've buckled up for a long ride
  16. Something similar usually happens when the process times are being updated. -
