I know your question is directed at Hex and Boo-Yaa - no one really knows, but I expect it's because they paid the SAF which was introduced in August. I'm sure there is other factors, but this seems to match up. Completely unfair in my opinion, but life isn't fair, especially Australian Visa's.

I haven't imported my application yet so no, but isn't what's displayed in peoples IMMI account, a replica of what's on the Global VIsa wait time? They usually mirror.

I can imagine processing time will fall, as there seems to be somewhat of a surge in applications being processed post August 18', when the SAF was introduced. Good news for new Applications, I assume bad news for the rest of us, with some DHA resources being pushed onto the new Nomination SAF stream. Purely my Gut feeling, no facts.

Hi Maggie, out of interest, in regards to the 186 TRT - what's the difference between quitting 1 day after VISA grant, to 1 Month? IMMI is not notified either way? Only if your Sponsor was to report you to IMMI would they find out? People should do their best to stay within their company for the 2 years - to keep inline with the commitments made.

That's a crazy wait for a Low Risk Occupation / Birth Country... Not got a Criminal Record or anything have you?

Not really or not? I'd hate for them to find out, to CC my MD in an email and ask why I've done something against their instruction... Just opening a can of worms, I understand I'm within my right, but just conversations that don't need to happen should it be raised with my employer.

Do you know if the MA is alerted to an Applicant importing their Application? My MA was specific in my Lodged Email not to access the IMMI account to track progress as advised in the Application Lodged email, but I'd rather have some oversight on it.

Sign up here > https://online.immi.gov.au/lusc/register Import your file once registered. Surely you created an IMMI account for your Health Checks to obtain a HAP ID already?

Indeed, this worries me. If we import our Applications do our MA get notified?

I haven't seen any nominations approved in June. However, I have noticed a few in August and onward, random and fortunate they maybe, but this coincides with the Skilling Australia Fund (SAF) being introduced. I think this means that Training Benchmarks are no longer required for Nominations, meaning that the paperwork is more streamlined and easier to process. https://www.peakmigration.com.au/news/2018/day/8/rip-training-benchmarks-saf-levy-commencing-12-august-2018-457tss-nomination-validity-extended

That would make sense, as the training bench mark will not be applicable to your Nomination I guess. Makes the Nominations more streamlined and easier to process. However, they should be doing it in order of submission, just going to cause more of a drag. Congrats anyhow! All the best

Out of interest, was this the first 186 Nomination in the company? Reason I ask, is my manager was our first in the business, and his PR was approved within 3 months, everyone else over 8 months.. Curious if there's a link between first nominations being solicited by a separate IMMI team.

I've added him to the Excel Document. @Kashif.Iqbal - Let me know if any details are incorrect. A screenshot of your IMMI Nom Apporval would be great. So far the lead horse in the June race!
