  1. Congratulations may I ask are you offshore when visa granted?
  2. Yes. I just did for my mother couple months ago. Just email them all the docs. Got approved in 5 days.
  3. Hi all Just went to centrelink to apply for AOS. It’s so confused. They just did confirmation of identity, and took the AOS form without asking ( Department of Home Affairs letter, any documents,...) she not even read the forms, just signed as the witness only. Then she said that’s all done. When I asked her about what is next. She said she has no idea. All she doing is scan and submit it. If I need to know anything, call the service number Does anyone experience like me? Is it just first step normally? Will I expected another appointment or interview? ( I didn’t have the CRN to register online, and Centrelink is just next door, so I thought it would be easier to just apply in person) Thanks

  5. Hi Greece. If you asked about the lodgement day, then it was 22 Feb 16 (not 12) I actually was so surprised when I got an email as after I read your timeline I expected it would come around next couple weeks or next year...
  6. Hi. Just wanna share a news. My mum got request for further docs yesterday 2/12.
  7. Congratulations Greece! Hopefully my mum will be contacted before xmas
  8. Hi I applied for my mum 600 family sponsored visitor visa twice through immi account. She got 12months stay from each time. ( out of Australia for 3 months in between) But I heard everyone is different. Seek informations from the immi website. Hope it helps!
  9. Congratulations theballies! Happy for you all. Now I can expect to be contacted around next month Thank you for sharing
  10. Thanks bridgie for the update. Seems like they just tried to finish 2015 then stopped there
  11. My mum is 56. So I think maybe it’s different for tourist visa and sponsored visa I guess. Or every case is different
  12. There’re 2 type of 600: tourist visa which normally allows 3months stay is not required medical check, and sponsored family visitor visa which allows up to 12 months stay is required medical check. Hope it helps!
  13. Last update from someone is 9 November 15. My mum still 4 months behind At least it’s moving now...
  14. Is it for 143?? Omg..It’s moving fast now??? I can expect my mum 143 coming around end of this year or early 2020 maybe she’s 4months after yours.
  15. Hey Anks It means she can get in and out of Australia within 3 months 5/6/19-5/9/19, must not arrive after 5/9/19. So if she arrive before that day, she can stay for 12months straight, cannot depart out of Australia. As if she leaves, she is not allowed to enter again.
  16. Hey Alan Yeah It doesn’t make sense to me when I received her previous visa too. I thought they made a mistake. So I went to immigration department myself to check. They said it’s correct. My mom can stay for upto 12 months of each arrivals. Multiple entry for 3 months. Her previous one granted on 13/3/18 valid till 13/6/19. She arrived in Australia on 04/04/18 and departed on 31/03/19 due to 12months stay. Submitted a new visa on 20/05/19 and got granted today with the same type as previous one. 05/06/19, must not arrive after 05/09/19 with 12 months stay of each arrivals. It’s weird but it’s correct ect
  17. She got the same visa as her previous one. Multiple entry for 3 months only but can stay for 12 months from each arrivals. She will be here in this July and stay straight until June 2020
  18. Hey Anks, I meant it’s 3 months ( not year) multiple entry with 12months stay of each arrivals. So her visa doesn’t have condition 12 months stay within 18months. She left Australia on last 31/3 after 12 months stay on her previous visa. And just got granted another visa today ( after 2 months outside)
  19. No Anks, it’s just 3 months multiple entry with 12 months stay of each arrivals.
  20. Just update my mum case. She just got granted another sponsored family visitor visa 600 (which allows her stay for 12months) after 2 months out of Australia. So guess I don’t need to think of 870 at least until next year. Hopefully her 143 will be proceeded anytime next year.
  21. Thanks for the info. I have just little bit short from taxable income requirement ( if i am right it’s $83k) but my husband is way higher from requirement. Do you know if my husband can be a sponsor? As I read somewhere it says “in law” can be a sponsor.
  22. I will go for 870 then. Still better here with family than outside alone Hope I’m not too late to do the sponsorship application. Thanks Linda
  23. anyone has any idea how long to expect the wait for 143 lodged 26/2/16. I just lodged sponsored family visitor visa 600 for mum. But not sure if she will be granted one this time as she stayed in Australia for 12 months straight, just has been out of Australia for only 2 months . I might think of doing 870 for my mum to come. It’s just gonna be a bit wasted if I applied for 3 years on 870 and her 143 will process next year
