  1. Thank you very much for the information provided by all of you. I just received the grant notification from NSW processing centre. To conclude a little observation with some visa applicants, the nomination company turnover, the skill level of occupation, the English competence and the comprehensiveness of submitted docs really matter to the progress and the priority. Best wishes.
  2. https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language/functional-english Read this one. Being realistic, a low score of 4 doesn't look like functional here.
  3. Hi mate, do you know which processing centre issued the request for further information letter? Mine is from NSW PSE.
  4. That's the clause in the nomination approval notice. The one you quoted is on the cover letter.
  5. The nomination approval letter says: This nomination approval ceases on the earliest of the following: ● the day on which Immigration receives notification, in writing, of the withdrawal of the nomination by the sponsoring entity; ● 6 months after the day on which the nomination is approved. Did your MA say anything about the above clause?
  6. Go to NSW police online service to book the fingerprints service and go to the local police station (I recommend you going to the CBD ones). Please mention you're doing the service for HK CNCC. https://www.police.nsw.gov.au/online_services/user_charges_user_pays_policing_services 177 *Taking fingerprints of applicant for applicant's own use (this fee is NOT for criminal record check or security industry licence) 45.00 0.00 45.00
  7. Character and Police Certificate Requirements As per the Department’s website (Character and Police certificate requirements), some countries such as Singapore, Japan, The Netherlands, Fiji, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, or Hong Kong, require a letter from the Department first in order to provide a penal check (‘penal check letter’). If you wish to ‘front end load’ the penal check process to reduce processing delays you may wish to obtain a penal check letter before you lodged your visa application or prior to receiving a request for further information from the Department. For such requests you can email the bio-data page of your passport to nsw.pse@homeaffairs.gov.au and include the words “Penal Check Letter” in the subject line of your email.
  8. Still awaiting the decision on the last day of 2018. Fingers crossed.
  9. I lodged both applications late Feb 2018. RCB was approved in Mar. I just completed the medical exams early November when I got the nomination approval. VIC DE, Land surveyor.
  10. Nomination approved on 26 Oct. Visa application was opened and only APF clearance was requested. All documents were submitted on 26 November. No news yet.
  11. Hi all, Nomination granted today. Nomination and visa application for 187 DE lodged on 23 Feb 2018. Occupation is the land surveyor and state is VIC.
  12. AFP is investigating the officer who leaked the information but not Peter Dutton.
  13. Do anyone know if the visa 187 holders can live in peri-urban postcodes and work with their regional employers? Nomination/application lodged in Feb 2018. RCB approved. 187 DE VIC. Status: received.
  14. Estimated Processing Time updated: 22 months to 25 months
  15. My case is in Victoria which Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources is the RCB which does not state the processing time on their website. Other Victorian RCBs such as Geelong advises that Requests for Assessments are currently taking at least 8 weeks to reach processing.
  16. My RCB application has been assessed over 12 weeks. They have asked for further information about my workplace. Do anyone know if it is a normal?
  17. I lodged the RCB, nomination and visa applications at once in late-February 2018 (almost 3 months ago). RCB has requested for the photos of my workplace. Still waiting for RCB approval.
