Agree ? But for example when the application is offshore then what? employee won't start working until visa is approved so how can they assess if they really need it or no? in other places the employment contract states that the commence date is upon visa approval, so again here what? ??

My advice is to add her now. I don't think it will affect much the processing time. Plus the CO should understand that in 2 years they take to give an answer many things can happen to the applicant either get marry or have a kid so just do what you need to do. Good luck ?

I'd say nomination harder, actually is the only thing worries me about once that one is approved there is no reason for visa refusal (of course that will depend on your records, but if you have follow the rules, nothing to worry about)

If you continue working for the company with same ABN then you should be alright, but if you going to work for the new business owner (that probably has its own ABN already) then you gonna be in trouble, you need to ask more info to your boss regarding the terms of the sale and i suggest visit your MA. Agree. Oscar is right is someway, sometimes i feel the same. As if Australia prefers refugees or people that comes here to do the bad thing ie: not follow the rules, work in cash, students that don't follow the approved works rights, etc etc. But everyone here, hard working and skilled people are treated like we are the bad thing happening to this country and it doesn't make any sense to me

OMG my thoughts exactly! if someone have been paid for the past 2 years and the employer requested the 186 is because indeed they need the employee, no-one is going thought this process just for fun because it cost TIME and MONEY. Also some CO think they are business experts, honestly if they know that much what are they doing working for immi department? go open your business with your theatrical business ideas taken straight from a book GEEEZ let the business do their business don't come up with silly refusal reasons ?
