She was probably told that visas will be issued after 1st July - like the rest of us who had 2nd VAC payment request on 12/6/18

Thanks, Alan - but I have an Aus bank account. Just wondering best way to arrange bank cheque from U.K. Thinking of transferring to daughters who live there and they can get cheque and send it. (or disappear to Bali . . )

Thanks. No it doesn't feel real. Partner at work! Daughters asleep (in Oz)! So no-one to scream and get giddy with! Apart from all of you!! BTW I was the first to suggest 'mindfulness' - so don't go giving Ant 111 all the credit!!!? ? Pom- tiddly om - Pom Pom!

Hi - a question about payment of 2nd Vac: We are in the U.K. but have the money in an Australian bank. I thought we'd be able to pay by bank transfer. Can we get Oz bank to issue a bank cheque and give to daughters ( with ID) to send off? Has anyone been in this situation?

Hi Mike and Ant, Congrats! Got our 2nd request, too! Couldn't believe it! Hands shaking! After 1st July. Has anyone ever NOT received visa after this stage.

They didn't in mine. But I sent a cheeky email thanking them and asking if I'd have to wait until ne FY. No answer We just have to wait. I'm trying 'Mindfulness"???

I completely agree. 'It is what it is' However, as most people do not have close friends, neighbours or family in the same situation - it's good to be able to share ones frustrations with others in the same boat! But keep it in perspective - look at the rest of the world!!

Really, really feel for you!! Does MP have a 'surgery' like they do in the UK? Also phone centrelink again - make a nuisance of herself. Somerimes I think that If I had known about all the waiting, frustrations, living in limbo, etc. - would I have embarked on this journey in the first place? Good luck ?
