Hi all DOL 2 Nov 2019 Our relationship is more than 19 years with 2 kids. 1st RFI (Police Check etc): 1 Jul 2020 Case progressing email: 1 Nov 2020 2nd RFI (Medical Check): 1 Mar 2021 Medical done: 4 Mar 2021 Currently onshore. No call to any one from any quarter as yet, however, hoping for for gold email soon.

Hi Mitho I will apply 3rd time visit visa after 27 Feb 2021 as the concession to 309 visa applicants who are currently onshore will start from 27 February 202. In the same visit visa application I will request DHA to approve my 309 visa application. Hope for the best. Thanks for asking any way

Hi Mitho i m still waiting. I will apply another visit visa 3rd time as the current one is expiring in early March. I have seen on other forum that DHA has recently granted some 309 visas in less than 3 months. Unfortunately, they are not accountable.

Disappointing update. What is early 2021. It seems that DHA is still not convinced to give concession to those who are onshore.

Hi, we have received citizenship test date i.e. 20 Jan 2021. We applied on 29 Aug 2020 from ACT. We have been asked to provide the proof of first entry into Australia. However, we have not the passport on which we travelled first time in 2015. What are its alternate options to show at the time of interview?

Congratulations. As I mentioned earlier that our citizenship application was lodged on 29 Aug 2020 from ACT. Today, I re-checked contents of the application and realized that we made one mistake (at Page 10 of the application) under the heading "Current residence", which I responded as 'Pakistan' instated of 'AUSTRALIA'. It means that we are offshore which is wrong. In fact we were/are on shore. My question is, whether we need to notify the DHA or wait their inquiry? If yes, then how?

Sorry to bother you again Chennaiguy, Thanks for your above explanation. Kindly let me know whether DHA, after having look at our applications, will notify us through the IMMI Account or by sending a letter by post, about the test date?

Hi our application is waiting for approval. After that test date would be conveyed.

Just to share that our son (aged 17-years) applied from ACT on 29 August 2020. His application was approved on 30 October 2020. He is exempt from test and has now received offer to attend Citizenship ceremony on 9 December 2020 at Albert Hall, Canberra. On the other hand, we are still waiting for approval of our application. We, the whole family, applied on the same day i.e. 29 Aug 2020 and the status of our applications are still RECEIVED. Any idea when our applications are likely to be approved?????
