  1. I am happy for all this good news. No more refusal again, amen. Forward ever, backward never. I am next in the queue.
  2. They should start it and stop procrastinating. I don't know the type of jobs all this highly skilled as they call it will do in the regional areas.
  3. Yes, i am not against them bringing skilled workers here. I am only concern how we living here are been treated. If they know that cook for example is not the type of skill that is highly needed, why not just remove it from the list instead of giving them hope at the end of the waiting period, they will get refused that they are not needed, thats sad.
  4. When i applied for my visa, i was also qualified for 489 visa and the processing time for 187 visa at that time was about 12 months. If i knew that the processing time will keep on increasing, i would have considered that option instead of putting myself in this type of visa drought.
  5. You can understand that even as relocating to the regional areas does not guarantee a sponsorship and sponsorship is very difficult. I also disagree that people moved to regional just to get visa. Every visa has a condition and applicants are doing their best to meet those requirements. Some one who applied for visa 190 without knowledge of where he or she is heading to, will be considered quickly while you who is already on the ground, have similar qualification and experience will be there welcoming them as PR holders.
  6. Some times it surprises me the cause of delay in 187 visa processing time. Other visas has been given more attention than 187 when the govt is aware that most of us have been living here for years, secured full time job and contributing to their economy without depending on social welfare but rather they prefers to grant visa quick to those who have not been here for the first time, no job at hand and chances of govt support on arrival. Australians get sense.
  7. I think so. they are randomly selecting applications. Processing time is not meaningful.
  8. Happy weekend guys. We are here for Australia, Australia is here for us.
  9. Look at this week now, so quiet no news of any kind. They just packed people applications in the shelves. All they are interested is to win next election. They have no people's intention in their mind. Corruption everywhere
  10. Dont you think that they are just confused. All they do is how to win election but all this their far right strategies is back firing.
  11. Forget about the current govt, they are no longer capable of executing policies. Their party is in shamble
  12. You have passed processing time. They suppose to release your visa.
  13. What is your friend occupation? we have so many NT here who are still waiting for more than 14 months already. Am not sure region is used to determine processing time.
  14. Congrats to all those who recently got their visas. I wish the remaining applicants all the best
  15. We dont know how this people are allocating applications. This is really confusing. Some 2016 are yet to be granted, they jumped to may 2017 back to February while January are yet to be considered. They are talking about rendering counselling services to farmers in drought then what of visa applicants who have been in limbo for years and moths waiting for their decision.
