  1. As soon as we get to Australia I’ll have this dealt with . I didn’t want a will written up in Scotland then have lots of hassle because we moved over seas.
  2. Yea I worded that pretty badly but you’ve gotten the message sorry . It was also a “ what if something happened to me and my oldest son wants to stay in Australia with his step father and siblings . As he has PR will he be allowed to stay. Regarding his biological father , he has no rights what so ever .
  3. Yea I worded that pretty badly but you’ve gotten the message sorry . It was also a “ what if something happened to me and my oldest son wants to stay in Australia with his step father and siblings . As he has PR will he be allowed to stay. Regarding his biological father , he has no rights what so ever . I live in Scotland and prior to May 2006 if a couple aren’t married at time of birth or subsequently there after , the father didn’t get automatic rights . he doesn’t bother with him anyway .
  4. Hi all , So I see there is already a post pinned about what happens to children if someone wants to return home to the UK. I was just granted my PR for Australia and we plan on relocating in June this year. I have two children with my husband and I’ve very well aware I would need his permission to return to the UK if anything was every to breakdown. Now my main question is , I also have an older son , He is 14 he also has been granted PR . I have sole parental responsibilities of my son , He is not a biological child of me and my Australian husband , Again with my husband being sponsor and his step dad ( no legal rights in place though ) Would I need his permission to take my oldest son back to the UK , if Australia was now deemed his habitual residence ?? Does my husband gain any sort of legal rights to my son if god forbid anything were to happen to me , could he live with my husband and his brother and sister ? I don’t know where to start asking about it.
  5. I applied this year and my husband ( sponsor ) did need AFP because he was sponsoring his step son too. My son who is under 16 .

  7. Thank you , I had a brief conversation with someone from moneycorp but it was just before my visa was granted so I didn’t need to move money then . so I just need to upload my ID documents .

  15. Morning / evening all . Snooping on my immi application again and I’ve noticed next to my husbands “ sponsor “ name it now says ( approved ) im pretty certain it didn’t ever say that before , Could it be a sign it’s progressing ? My application is “ further assessment “ at the moment. Thank you all all in advance
  16. So is your review on “ further assessment “ too ? I swear I have been stalking the website every day , am I the only one doing this . It doesn’t help my mother in law has decorated both my babies nursery and i feel like I’m in limbo lol
  17. RobC any more info above “ Further investigation “ ??? Mines is still there and it’s doing my head in and it has only been from the 15th of February I submitted my info . Impatient to say the least .
  18. I got mines scanned by my witnesses in Aus and emailed through it me in the UK . Nice and easy that way
  19. I noticed before the maintenance on the immi account ( Yes I'm a serial immi stalker, only applied on the 15th of Feb ) mines said Assessment in progress , It now says " Further assessment " . In my opinion it is just re wording on the new website , I'm not an expert or anything though.

I done the British one so fingers crossed.
  21. Just a little outside Newcastle , NSW . When applying for his uk spouse it was paperwork . With this being online I cant help checking it constantly . Its 2 weeks tomorrow which is nothing at all . Yours was very quick but thinking that it could be months and months is stressful lol
  22. I’m not too sure what assessment is process is . Does it mean someone is actually looking at it now or queued ? JJ we will be moving in with my husbands parents . They have 180 acre property with a granny flat ready to go . I have two duel citizen babies and an older son who I’ve sole custody , been married over two years . Hubby has been in uk on spouse visa since Nov 2015 so I hope it goes to a quick decision also . I stalk my immi account daily lol ?
