  1. @Noodlejaffa I lodged mine in April 2017 got correspondence mid Jan 2018 for NOIM submitted that 7 days later. Then got correspondence 6 weeks later to say they didn't receive the documents. Resent documents 2 days later I got my grant notice via email.
  2. Why did u pay $7160? The information I got forwarded says that if you have already made a payment of $7600 (or whatever it was for the PMV) the 2 stage application charge is $1500.
  3. Hi @spangle 1I get there after wedding.. Wedding on the 24th Nov in Bali and then moving to Aus. Visa expires 13 December. I'm definitely cutting it close. How is the adjustment going?
  4. Guys!! A couple of weeks ago I believe there was an update on the sponsors requirements. Does this affect us? I tried to find info on immiaccount but the info stated that it only affected applicants as from 16th Nov 2016 (which is us).I am not sure if this info has always been on immi or this pertains to the 'new' update? @spangle 1I think you can help here since you down under already. Any changes???
  5. Congrates???????????. Sorry for my late response. I trust all went well on your end. Since we happen to be in approximately the same position where do you go from here? I believe you start or continue with the 2nd stage of the visa process but what should happen if ur current visa expires and your new visa hasn't been granted? I am aware of a bridging visa that is avaliable and, (I stand to be corrected here) this is automatic. But do u have to leave an re-enter the country on this new bridging visa?
  6. Hi all I have a South African drivers license that was recently renewed does my drivers convert like in the above mentioned case or do I have to go through the process? Thanx
  7. I just took screen shots and cut and pasted on a word document ( maybe there's an easier way). I did that for my emails and fb msgs too. It's a lot of work I'm not kidding but I felt in this way no1 could question anything. My evidence of relationship was 10years. So yeah it is possible to do so.
  8. You should include the nickname in 'known by any other name". Provide the police clearance in the manner in which your country issues it to you. If there are enquires about such they will contact you further to require clarity. I'm not sure how much an avidavidt will help for the latter part of your enquiry but it could be an option when asked further about the police clearance.
  9. Yes we have my visa ends December but the wedding date is end Nov so rather a hurry. We opted for the 8th month post visa grant because tying up things in South Africa take awhile I.e job, apartment, belongings. If I may ask did u immigrate with any possessions or just yourself?
  10. @spangle1 Wishing you all the best on your coming nuptials. Exciting times ahead.
  11. Congratulations. Yes I too enjoyed the break. If you don't mind me asking how long after your granted are u planning to tie the knot?
  12. Ohhh and a heads up to those applying for a PMV the grant notice will be issued before the expiry of either yours (primary applicant) or the sponsors police clearance expires. Had a known this wedding planning would not be so rushed. If I knew this it would of been helpful. Just thought to share this experience with you all
  13. Hi all Anyone know if after been granted a PMV does one need to get married in Australia?
  14. Got it immediately. Maybe check for an HAP ID number somewhere on your form. If you still don't locate it send an enquiry to the technical support team (if you did this online). They do take long to reply but they do reply.
  15. We've chosen wedding dates but because the system is so strict on communication it's so difficult to speak to a human being. But alas now we are stuck with getting a wedding done asap before the visa expires in December this year.
  16. Hi. My visa got granted on the 14th March but according to the high commission in my country they used the expiry of one of my documents, the police clearance, and granted it before it expires. Apparently the Computer picks the date between the sponsors and the primary applicants police clearance expiry date, mine was 30th March and his 22nd March. Apologies for the delayed response. Altogether the prospective marriage visa process took us 11months and 2weeks..phew
  17. Hi I have just been granted my prospective marriage visa I am a bit confused about the following:" first entry arrive by 22 March 2018". Does this mean I HAVE TO enter Australia on the 22 March or FROM the 22th March 2018 I can enter Australia?
  18. Thank you very much for the assistance. I will try that
  19. My apologies by 'CO' u mean case officer? To my understanding a CO is an individual that is assigned to my case I however got an email from the immigration office (where generic queries are handled) rather than a person who works at the departments email address at the immigration office (i.e Sandra.immigration@dfat....). Am I to assumed that I have a CO? What in my correspondence will let me know that I have a CO? Is there something unique or distinguishing that lets me know that? Ps I do now have an application ID number !!
  20. Hi I am sorry if I am going off topic. On my partner visa for prospective marriage, additional information is requested. The info they asked to provide has already been uploaded many months ago however my question now is how do I reupload the requested information? The application allows for the attachment of a maximum of 60 attachments I have filled that quota. Where do I submit/upload the information requested. The e mail to me does say that I upload to the immiaccount but not how I do it. I tried my luck again, with the attachment option (as now the button was highlighted) but an error saying I have already attached the required no of documents. Any suggestions or a step-by-step guide to attaching additional info (>60 documents) will be much appreciated.
