  1. @Invicala Stupid question but as you've used a MARA should they not have direct contact or an easier way to contact immigration with your concerns.
  2. If uve uploaded info and it's still within the 28days just hang in there. They sometimes come back to your application. If you don't mind me asking what did the request you provide more info off? If it was a police clearance hold on to the hope they will try and grant you the grant before the 1 you originally submitted expires.
  3. Did u explain the over 21month time frame? Gosh i dont know what else to suggest. The timeframes they generally give to provide more requested information is 28days and even so, well in my case, they followed up with my police clearance. It is actually how we got them to understand why we wont be able to provide the information in the stipulated timeframe (we provided 1 using an alternative method).
  4. @zea. If u are onshore try calling immigration. I did that last week and my entire telephonic experience lasted 23mins. They were very helpful
  5. Hi all just an update my partner visa was granted just 5months into the stipulated time frame of, currently it stands at, 21-28months. Good luck to all. Things have been moving steadily so just keep the hope alive. My time frame is as follows PMV submitted of-shore April 2017 ((South africa) Request for NOIM and updated police clearance as well as more info March 2018 PMV granted 14 March 2018 Enter Australia 22 March 2018 Married November 24th (Bali) & November 30th (Australia) Submitted Stage 2 Partner visa 05 December 2018 (onshore) Request for more info by CO 27th February 2019 Followup on requested Police clearance 22 May 2019 23th May 2019 Granted Partner visa (subclass 802)
  6. Hi There The same happened to me as angelpie. Once uploaded the visa was granted in no time. My application was done in South Africa.
  7. @Zea maybe try corresponding to the email address that initially asked you for more information. Either address the email to the individual or quote your case number. Sorry it's the best thing I could think of in your situation. I found responding in this way to immigration got me responses in less than 48hrs. Telephonic attempts are not successful.
  8. I applied in April 2017 and got granted my stage 1 in March 2018. Although I got only 1 response from my CO for additional info like NOIM 2 weeks later it got granted.
  9. Hi there although your message wasn't directed at me I thought to let u know. I applied for my PMV stage 2 in Dec 2018. I got correspondence from the CO in Feb 2019. They requested more info from me like evidence but since I havnt heard anything.
  10. @spangle 1 OMG congratulations. So happy for you. I'm still awaiting my grant notice. Yours was rather quick. I lodged in December 2018
  11. You need to include pictures where the majority is the both of your.
  12. It's a pleasure Lanna. I found I got all the help I needed from the people on this forum. The timeline is a good idea. Add as many pictures as you can. I'm not sure if it helped my application but I also included pictures that had the people from our 888 in them (I wrote captions to some of them). With my stage 1 my evidence was adequate as my partner and I didn't have to go through the interview however for my stage 2 (post wedding) they still required more evidence. We got married in Bali and then did the official signing in Australia so we provided pictures of both. It seemed not enough so in hindsight it could go either way. Just give them everything as long as they show the 2 of yourl in it.
  13. Hi Lanna In my opinion (I did my evidence from South africa): 1. I think they may have an issue with 'demo. We screenshot email and messages even fb correspondence. 2. The little bits of English won't be enough youl have to use an australian recommendend/recognised translator 3. I submitted my PMV without one however when we got correspondence from our Case worker it was when we got one. Meaning I submitted without one initially 4. I would suggest try to give them everything they want/require upfront as if they request it later the timeframe may not be adequate enough to obtain all the info. Try to submitt as close to a complete PMV application as possible. 5. No idea 6. It shouldn't be a problem 7. I would suggest that considering the cost of the visa rather do separate 'details of the relationship' they should be similar yet exact in detail. If his is in Vietnamese get a translator. You do want them to poke holes in the relationship by asking for more and more information to verify your relationship. As this may incur more cost on your part.. 8. This will serve as joint travel. I hope this helps. I do write from my experience with it. My PMV got granted 13months after it was lodged and I only got correspondence 2 weeks prior to it been granted (so at month 13 my CO contacted me). I had to only had to submit a NOIM and a new police clearance. My now husband lives in Australia so to obtain a NOIM was not difficult. We obtained that within 4 days of getting the request and submitted all online within 10days. But like I mentioned I'm from South africa where things get done pretty slowly and the Australian services (to obtain the NOIM) was rather quick. I'm not sure of the Vietnamese buearacy so try and provide as close to a complete application as possible. Good luck and again I hope I've been of some help TIP. I screenshot my messages, emails and such evidence using my tablet. It is easier as u can paste it on a word document (as a picture) so it helps with the document limit on immiaccount.
  14. Is this site on immi ? Can u send me a link or do I just go on Google type it in and click something that says Australia?
  15. Hey @spangle 1 can you advise if you got an update that your PMV is no longer active and ur BVA is in effect? Immi has only updated the info as of the 5th December when I submitted my application for new visa (partner) at the time my PMV was still in effect up until the 12th December. However there has been no info (grant notice) of the 'active' BVA
  16. Brilliant thanx a ton @spangle 1. How long is your processing time when u lodged ur partner visa application? Mine is currently at 21-25months
  17. @spangle 1Hi Spangle. Arrived in Aus about 2 weeks now and getting started on uploading documents for the partner visa (my PMV expires on the 13th December) Just wondering as the documents needed is the same as the initial visa (PMV) did you have to get new certified documents to upload? Or just reuploaded the old 1s?. Do I now need to get get new 888 forms because now we are married and the friends that have done the 888 were at the wedding so I'm sure there is more details they could include? Hope all is going well I see London is quiet slow at this time of the year. Hang in there folks. I waited 13 months from the time my PMV was lodged with only 1 correspondence from my CO and 5 weeks later a reply that said we havnt received the needed documents. Then 2 days after reuploaded them I got my visa. I've been doing long distance, with my now husband, for 10 years. Enough said.
  18. Hey @spangle 1 that's great news congrats on all the hard work. Where u notified when you were on the BVA. How long after lodging onshore did it take to 'kick in'? My PMV expires 12th Dec and il lodge my 2nd stage on 4th Dec. All in all how are things going there? did u find is difficult to adjust or are you still learning the ways of the Australians?
  19. @spangle 1wow 5months...you are definitely 1 of the lucky ones. Has your stage 2 been complete? Is your current PMV visa still valid or did you get the BVA?
  20. Ahhh sounds familiar. It makes sense. I however can't comment on the first portion of ur post.
  21. In reference to your alternate, does the granting of your PMV knock out the tourist e-visa? In my experience once it was granted (the PMV) They gave me an initial entry date. So maybe keep a close eye on that one when your visa is granted so you know as to when u may re-enter
