  1. We will get through this !
  2. When I login to my Immi account it says Status- Received, but right below that All applicants name are mentioned and it reads finalised at the end of each name. Is this how its supposed to be? P.S - My Nomination was approved after it was set aside by AAT but yet waiting on visa .
  3. I know brother it's hard but you are nearly there. AAT finalised my 2019 review application without hearing lately .
  4. My RMA rang AAT after numerous follow up email only to hear “ This case is not allocated to tribunal member” !! What to do?
  5. We both are Mechanics in ninth year of our employment . No hearing . Failed to comply was Reason we got told by my boss, which from day one he said is forced upon us !!!
  6. Review applications were filed in July 2019.
  7. My colleague got his permanent residency . His file remitted to home affairs in November and shortly afterwards medicals and NPC were requested.
  8. Well, it is evident that AAT and Home Affairs have policies which do not consider applicants mental health !
  9. Late last year , A senate inquiry mentions that AAT has become dumping ground for coalition members who are paid hundered of thousand dollars to do nothing. The inquiry board requested the names of the members who finalised less than 25 cases per year where an average is 135 a year. But back then the registrar of the time who finished her job on 14th January , said that disclosing the names and case numbers of these members would not be good for their mental health. As of AAT does not have permanent president..... Good luck to all of us.
  10. Welder guy, was your nomination approved after AAT review?
  11. Get well soon mate!!
  12. I am a mechanic patiently waiting to hear from AAT and working hard everyday for past eight years for my employer. My nomination was refused in mid 2019 after two years of lodgement and no correspondence from AAT till now. There is no way out of this other than waiting!!
  13. No one can provide exactly how long you might have to wait for a visa file assessment. I know people who got Visa application finalised right away after the nomination approval and I also know someone who have been waiting over a year for visa application assessment after nomination approval and heard nothing so far. I hope you get good news soon
  14. Mate as far as I know nomination for ENS 186 visa is valid until a decision is made on your visa application if visa application is lodged prior to nominatio approval. In your case,i guess you have not lodged a visa application and In this scenario you get six months to file your visa appli action. Once you file your visa application within six months of your nomination approval , employer is not required to renew the nomination again. I hope this helps.
  15. Please ask your employer to communicate with global feedback unit. They might be able to provide you with more information. But it does not help in every situation, in your case it may or may not. I have a co-worker who's nomination was approved June last year within six months of lodging both, but visa application is yet to be finalised. He contacted global feedback unit and they replied "your file is active and we can not provide you exactly how long it might take to finalise your application. Please wait for correspondence from your case officer". After that he never heard anything from the department. Now I understand that there is lot of pressure on case officers and some files do need special consideration but seriously 14 months after nomination approval ,visa file is still pending. His son was denied admission to one of the grammar schools in west given the reason that visa is uncertain at this stage. That ,i think is unfair. I have not made any contact with the department myself , because of the situation described above. I focus on my work and work hard every day so that my employer considers me an asset to the business, not liability and he keeps up with the nomination process . But at the end I would say make every effort that you keep up with your job and also try to seek answers from the department. Try global feed back unit .
  16. Roughly, how long did it take them to request your explanation after the visit ? What sort of documents did they request ? If you don't mind telling Bro, every little bit helps
  17. My file is submitted complete and business MA is updating everything periodically. No paper ever demanded by the department before . I am happy they came to my workplace at least they are working on it now.
  18. Mirzaa , bro could you please let me know after, how long did department take to refuse your ens nomination after the visit to your workplace in 2016. I am in similar situation as well.
  19. Hello everybody, I applied 186 visa as a Motor mechanic in July 2017. I have been working for my employer for past four years.Department of immigration paid surprise visit to my workplace on 23 August. Unfortunately I was on a sick leave since 22nd August to 24th august. I have valid doctor's certificate and Medicare statement dated 22nd August that reads that I am unfit for my usual occupation until 24th august. However my employer did let immigration officials know about my sickness. I No correspondence from my Case Officer so far, I hope something soon whatsoever it is. Trying to stay positive but every minute that goes by tries to break you down.
