  1. does anyone know about Unley City Coucil South Australia?
  2. This is what I think. Traffic fines in which court is not involved like expiation notices, which you paid and you do not go into court. then these will be fine. if the court is involved then you need to mention immigration and citizenship department about them. Please, do correct me if I am wrong.
  3. Can someone please help me with the following question? I will be applying for the citizenship on 20th June 2018. Should I get Identity Declaration, and recent passport size photographs now? or Do I need to wait till 20th June 2018 to get Identity Declaration, and recent passport size photographs at that time?
  4. Please sign this petition from Tony Burke sign on to the campaign Last night we saw the best evidence that we are winning the citizenship campaign. The minister responsible for the unfair changes couldn’t defend them. In fact he even lied about his own government’s policy to try to make himself look reasonable. On ABC’s Q&A program, the Minister for Citizenship unable to defend his own Government’s policy to change the citizenship legislation and so he resorted to misrepresenting them. Under pressure from Labor’s Clare O’Neil, Minister Tudge referred to his own legislation as requiring ‘conversational’ level English. As you are aware from following this campaign, the Government has continued to insist that the costly IELTS test be used. This test is not about conversational level English. For example it requires the applicant be able to write an essay. This is hardly how you test conversational level English. Legislation the Government introduced to the Parliament last year demanded the same test and the same entrance mark that is required for university level English. Either Minister Tudge doesn’t know his own policy or he felt free to completely misrepresent it on live television. The legislation was later withdrawn by Peter Dutton after being rejected in the Senate. This is another example of members of the Liberal Party saying one thing in front of a multicultural audience while doing something completely different when they are in Canberra. When a policy is so bad that the only way a Minister can defend it is to completely misrepresent it then it’s time for the Government’s citizenship changes to be abandoned altogether. We are with you on this. Please share this email with your friends and encourage them to sign on to the campaign here:www.tonyburke.com.au/get-active/citizenshippetition .
  5. Hi All, its very important the Government has asked for polls for Pauline Hansen's Bill https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/GKXLPS6 Guardian news. The Australian parliament is legislating by SurveyMonkey: asking for a public yes-no vote in an online poll on Pauline Hanson’s proposed legislation to change citizenship law. In an exceedingly rare move, the Senate legal and constitutional affairs legislation committee has set up a SurveyMonkey online poll, asking people one question: do you support the provisions of the Australian citizenship legislation amendment (strengthening the commitments for Australian citizenship and other measures) bill 2018?
  6. https://www.smh.com.au/politics/federal/zombie-policies-back-as-turnbull-government-eyes-new-look-senate-20180307-p4z3a1.html interesting article. the coalition may pass the citizenship bill after reshuffle in the senate. They may not need Green, Labor, and NXT support to pass the legislation
  7. I saw in another forum. I have searched and came up with the following news. But, it does not infer that the new changes will be introduced. That is why I was asking is the news real? https://www.sbs.com.au/news/ethnic-separatism-putting-australia-s-multicultural-society-at-risk-government Mr Tudge, who recently took over the citizenship portfolio, will tonight deliver a speech to the Menzies Research Centre warning Australia needed to work harder to ensure migrants integrate with broader society.
  8. Will the new changes to citizenship be announced today/tonight?
