    Hi paramjeet how long does it take to get visa once state nomination is received, I have recently received an invitation from Tasmania , also is the pathway clear now or there are more obstacles.

    Hi, Can some one please advise. I have received Tasmania state nomination and now I m in process of filling form 80, 1221 and PCC. The visa fee for married couple is AUD 5500 which is a lot of money in indian currency. I need to know what are the chances of getting visa now, I hope doors are open now as biggest obstruction of state nomination is there, of course I don't have any criminal background. Is the further pathway is clear to get visa or is it still a long way? How much time does it take to get visa once all the necessary forms are submitted?

    Sir, Thanks for your prompt response, and I believe the same I need to do in form 1221 too because there also I need to mention last year employment . Also can you please advise what is form 1221 for?

    Hi, Can someone please assist. Recently I got a invite to apply for visa. however the concerning part is form 80. While filling eoi I did not mention one small 4 weeks full time job I did, however form 80 is asking for entire employment details My concern is should I show myself for unemployed for 4 weeks or should I show the job which I actually did, will miss match in info of four weeks will not result in refusal of visa.

    Hi Richard,

    I have applied for subclass 489 under the overseas category. My points are 75 including state points. I have been waiting for 6 weeks and haven't heard anything!!

    My skill is restaurant manager, the skill is on there requirement website however I m getting to concern that whether this will ever happen?

    Do you know if people actually getting 489 visa? How long should i wait..

    I Do they actually give 489 visa to the restaurant manager background people?

      It's variable, we've had some being picked up in a month, but it depends on the state. For example, with some Northern Territory apps, we've found they have been taking around 5 months at the moment.

      Sir I have received my invitation ..thank god!! Now I m worried about form 80 as it says to declare all the jobs. Now there was a full time 3 weeks jobs I did in UK which I did not mention in my resume and EOI..hence should I mention those 3 weeks as unemployed or should I declare job and in that case will the miss match in information will not create a refusal

      Can you please advise ..

    Hi ahluwalia, What was your nominated occupation. It's been 3 weeks I applied for restaurant manager occupation , still waiting. How long was your wait? Also did they ask you for the proof of funds.

    Hi JD3006, Thanks for your help and response. I don't have any family member residing their, and total points I have is 75 including state nomination points. Really hope that is sufficient. Do you know is the points are sufficient tongetbstate nomination in restaurant manager profile... Sagar

    Hi, Has anyone recently receive state nomination for subclass 489 provisional visas. Its been 2 weeks I have applied state nomination and my total points is 75 (including state 10 points) What are the chance? The occupation is cafe and restaurant manager..
