Amy Aussie replied to Alan Collett's topic in Working and Skilled Visas
There are a lot of accountants waiting with 70 points. Just wondering, are they gonna get invited? Everyone at once?- 45 replies

u can check in your immiaccount but it only says `received` till your get the pr. When CO asks added docs sometimes the status is `in progress`.

I`ve read somewhere (maybe reply of a visitor post on Facebook?) that they do background checks even if the status is received. Maybe something`s happening just they keep in secret...

As you`re applying for trt, immi`s gonna ask the payslips from your current employer. My MA uploaded all the 2 years payslips at the time of application.

It theoretically means they processing June too. However if you look at the spreadsheet, these days they mainly processing March and April 2017, and there are a lot of cases from 2016 without any progress. Someone gets it after 4 months wait, someone is still waiting for 15 months. Maybe this is a better indication, however even DIBP says processing time are varied: http://www.border.gov.au/about/access-accountability/service-standards/global-visa-citizenship-processing-times

There are more applications at my company too and the processing time are varied... Everyone applied almost at the same time, maybe with maximum 4 weeks difference, then someone got it in 4 months, someone else in 7, someone else is still waiting.

I have also serious concerns that they just hand-picking a few applications then move forward.

For me it`s seems like they finalised 2 March applications in October. Both of them were already open last month. Then they skipped rest of March and started processing April. It happened before too, that`s why there are a lot of open cases from 2016. But I really hope I am just too frustrated and you`re right about this and they will go through all of the application in each month from now on.

I really hope they know the applicants are humans too and this time is exhausting for everyone. Your life is in limbo for almost 2 years, hopefully they will grant your visa soon. What is your occupation?

I didn't hear anything like that. However I would not be surprised if this is the goal. Does it effect only DE? Just because people applying for TRT have already been working there for at least 2 years.

That is an unbelievable long wait. People never have been in our boots can`t imagine how this wait effects our life. I wish you get your visa soon.

Hi, the processing method is a bit confusing for me. It seems like they stopped processing transition visas long time ago. On the spreadsheet the majority of February applications were finalized in June and July, a few March visas were granted in September. Maybe they just skipped rest of March and have started the April ones. Who understands this?
