  1. PR granted today! This forum really helped me a lot and thanks for all updates from everyone and you will get there soon just be patient. Details below and I do have a few questions to follow. Onshore, low risk, 1 applicant, 457->186 grandfather rules, TRT lodged mid May nomination granted a few days later and s56 requested 3 days later NSW PESE team So total duration is just less than 3 months Questions I have a basic health insurance since I got my 457 just to meet the visa requirement. Can I cancel my health insurance now once I get my 186 PR? I have been using my overseas drivers license because 457 was classified as a temporary visa, and I think 186 PR requires a legit Australian Drivers license. Do I have to transfer my overseas license to Australian one immediately now? I have got myself an interim medicare card once I lodged my 186 application, how do I get my permanent medicare card? Thanks again for all the help.
  2. How do we check if the employer nomination has been approved? I have heard that only MA and Employer can see that. My status is "further assessment" , and I have provided all doc required from s56. Thanks.
  3. I just saw the team! Mine's also team 13! You can see that from one of the messages under your immi a/c when they request for s56. I submitted around the same time as you. Hopefully, some news soon
  4. Congrats. I nomination approved a few days after you. Hope to hear some good news soon!
  5. Hi, I am just wondering what's your visa status now? It should be on the front page after you log in.
  6. Thanks so much guys. Just imported my application and it's currently sitting as "Further Assessment" . Not sure when it had been changed to this status. I have read a few pages of posts from this forum and have seen some mixed comments about the process time. Hopefully not long now, if I am one of the lucky ones who can get it after around 35 days.
  7. Another silent reader here May I know how to check the visa status? I tried to use my TRN and Passport # on the immigration website but my record is not showing up. I do have a MA for my case so I am wondering if I can check myself or I must go through my MA? Thanks.
  8. he's on shore from HK, so he won't get reciprocal Medicare. Do we have to keep the insurance all the time? How can they check if it got cancelled?
  9. Hi all, I finally got the good news when this forum was upgrading application lodged on 18 Jan nomination granted on 8 Feb visa granted on 22 Mar Low risk country I think employer had MA to chase repeatedly Flying off in a few days Thanks for all the supports guys, good luck!
  10. Thanks for your info. I am going to ask my MA to chase until I waited for 8 weeks (currently 7 weeks in), as 2 months is the official process time advised by immi. Waiting is so painful.............
  11. Yes, I did check with them and I am pretty sure all documents are ready. May I ask 2 questions? 1) Is it possible for MA to chase? 2) Do you have the access to your case from the immi platform? My MA told me that the application is with them so that I can't view my case myself. I can only get the updates from them by asking.
  12. haha, you know what? I had the same situation. The HR told me my visa is granted but it's actually just the nomination part. I have the insurance and everything to the MA. It's been 3 weeks since the nomination approaval, still no news yet. I am worried.
  13. Hi, I am actually still waiting for my 457 but ultimately I want to get my PR on my own. My profession is only on CSOL and I got my degree in Australia. I think I am only eligible to apply for a PR in Adelaide as my job is on their SOL. I am looking at ENS right now. I am wondering if it is common to ask my employer to apply for ENS for me after I am on board? I am more than happy to pay for the application fee etc. Otherwise it is leaving me no choice unless I wait for 2 years until my employer would "only possibly" sponsor for my PR. Need suggestions please. Thank you.
  14. Oh, it is on SOL, but still, fairly quick. My professional is only on CSOL but no news yet
  15. This is so quick, may I know what kind of professional are you?
  16. Unfortunately, for me, it doesn. My nomination was approved on 8th Feb but no news since then. I am in professional field in a big firm. When was it when you get your approval along with the nomination at your restaurant?
  17. Does anyone know how long does it take to get the actual 457 visa after the nomination is approved? An immigration agent told me that it is usually very quick once the nomination stage is passed. Any approximately timeline please?
  18. any complications or spouse etc? It shouldn't be taking this long?
  19. Let me join the conversation as I am also waiting for the visa. Applied offshore from a low risk country with Migration Agent. Both English test and medical check have already been done before application starts. application lodged on 18 Jan nomination granted on 8 Feb No updates since then.
