Yeah my sister has been over there 10 years but spent the first couple of years in SA, her kids go to Saint Stephens collage it's a private school and fairly expensive and has a long waiting list I think, but when we were with her in August we passed a few state school that from the outside looked really nice. My wife is a occupational psychologist so hopefully that, I'm in hospitality but want to move out of it this year and experience something else as that's all I've done for 16 years. My sister lives in helensvale we visited them last year, also spent some time is NSW and cairns while there. We have 2 boys 3 & 8. What are your kids feeling about the move ? Yeah we have warrick and we are doing 189, although they did suggest state nomination would be easier to achieve but we're limited to SA or NT, half of the point of us going is to be closer to family and they are in the Gold Coast, so throwing caution to the wind and trying the "harder" option in warrick's opinion. If it doesn't work out then we maybe left with the other option just means essentially moving twice which we don't want to do for costs and taking the kids out of school again etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can't compare as I'm still in the uk ....but surly in 15 years he's come up against the same in the uk?!? It's the same here we are treated like **** 4 days out of 5 and casual contracts are always the same. I've worked all over the uk and Europe for the last 15 years and sometimes things are good other times they are crap! I'm sure he'll find something he gets on with..... She is an occupational psychologist with 10 years experience, Msc in occupational psychology and bachelors in psychology. It was just another option really ! We spoke to an agent who suggested our easiest option would be state sponsorship for her but the only states are SA or NT, which is not a deal breaker as i believe after 2 years we could move but that involves up rooting the kids again and obviously the cost! I would not be the prime visa applicant but looking to change my job and wanted to train in the uk as a lock smith before a planned move to oz in maybe 2 years . How would my skills transfer to oz from the uk /what would I need to do once I arrive to enable me to work ?
