Just got information from the agent, they r finalising application in Apr 2017, hopefully its true(?) and good luck to everyone!

Can you please tell how do we come to know when notification process is going on? As in immigration website it says only about visa.

And good news is, now with the new Prime Minister, they wont be refusing without asking for further documents.

No,   5 years program applies to all of us even people who got permanent residency on skilled visas if they dont stay there for 5 years they wouldn't be able to to get their citizenship. Well that's what the government is saying.but the question is we can apply for citizenship after  1 year of pr grant once we get citizenship how can they stop us from going anywhere.

Hi can you please explain in a simple language that how long it takes from getting PR to citizen.

I believe most likely middle january 2019.. as from 15 dec department will have christmas holidays

Can you explain better. 

What I mean to say is that this is my suggestion.
The department should cut their fees for visa as it not only cost chuncks of money but also 2 years approx.
So I am suggesting if they charge this amount then reduce time frame or if same time frame then reduce money.
Imagine ppl get a negative news that cost them soo much money and 2 years also.
Just a thought for department

There should be simple 2 ways
Either pay same immi amount and get result in 8-9 months fast track
Or half fees for 22 months slow track.
Everyone will choose their priority.

now they asked for AFP and update latter from my employer that my position is still available 
positio- food and quality inspector (horticultural)
