Hi everyone!
I have been  a silent follower of this forum for a while.
I have been waiting for 15 months and 9 days and finally this morning I decided to call immigration for the first time following a friend's advice (they didn't say anything really.... just to keep  waiting). And surprisingly I got a call from my MA just now telling me that my nomination just got approved half an hour ago! and they had a question about one of my police checks (apparently NZ's police checks are issued in a "funny way")
This is my timeline:
187 DE restaurant manager LR (QLD)
Nomination & visa: 24 June 2016
Nomination approved: 3 Oct 2017
Fingers crossed!!

Minimum time could be one or two month I guess as some of them in this group got as early as that but they where scientists and professionals like that and what is ur profession and time line 

I am neither in retail or hospitality.
Yes someone also told me the same thing
That chefs and cooks take very long.
Everyone said 14 months but what can be minimum time ?

I cant believe it's talking sooo long for everyone. I am impatient for my case even now where as I applied visa on 31st August2017. But my nominations was applied mid April 2017. Can someone tell how much time i have to wait. 12 months from nomination time or visa time?

RCB. cleared
Nominations 18th of April 2017
Visa - 31 August 2017
PCC - cleared
Health- cleared

My question to all of us when can I expect nominations to be cleared?

Hello everyone my case is applied 187 in Australia and I am in India.

No I have to pay to visa.

I don't have a bigger limit credit card and debit card transaction is not allowed for a big amount my country.

Can anyone from India can help me how can I pay visa to the concerned department with the other alternative.

I think RCB is not a big deal.
Nomination and visa take longer time.
Those 6 steps are compulsory steps.

As we all know there are almost 6 steps in rsms visa.

Ielts/rcb/ police clarification / nomination / visa / medical.

Can you please tell me approximate percentage of progress in visa.

For example someone told me if you are RCB is approved then 20% of your case is done.

I would really appreciate if someone can help me and others who are in the process of 187.

Hi I am also selling to the same boat I have already applied nominations but made of April.
It is most likely nomination take 6 months and 6 months visa
This is the meaning of time that take but maximum can be 9 each.
You have a option of applying together where nomination and visa go simultaneously

i am very happy to share that today i got my two golden email just difference between half an hour. my nomination 31 march and visa 4 April and grant both on 13 march. so guys just keep trust and wait. i know it is hard but we have no option. and end well u will forget all of ur frustration. i am leaving in australia from 10 years 2.5 months. i applied pr 5 times in my journey. i fall many times and one decade of my life just go very quickly. and i was still stand from the beginning. once i had needed six band to get PR and i got my 6 band just one day after of my refusal in mrt. so guys be patient. keep your faith in positive side.

I have lived in Aus, its a nice place. There is no need to talk to road side junkies, rest everything is ok.

I am an Indian and got loved from everyone.

Hello everyone.

I'm from Shanghai, China and I am applying for Oz PR with my wife and 3-year-old daughter.

We visited Oz last year and found that Oz is really a great country to live in. We all love Oz since then.

Recently,I heard there were some bad news against Asian people, especially from Pauline Hanson.

 

When we were in Oz last year, local people we met were so nice. I'm sure they are all nice people without doubt.

Most of my friends who already moved to Oz also tell me that most Oz people are really nice, much better than those in USA.

But I know 90% people in Oz are white people.I'm a little terrified if we would get discrimination since we are Asian people.

Most of us are really hard workers and trying our best to make this country greater.

Still someone would say we steal their job or money. It's hurtful and unreasonable.

Also, my daughter is too young now. I'm afraid that she won't be fit in so well.

 

Do Aussies really hate Asians? What's your real opinion about Asians?

Is there any suggestion that can help my daughter fitting into this society?
