Merry Christmas everyone! Guess there's no chance we're getting our PR Christmas wish this year. DE May and June applications are getting grants, whilst April DE nominations have remained untouched? Weird!

 

Oh well, hopefully any day now..or at least by January! I looked at the spreadsheet and was shocked to see my wait time already at 9 months now. ?

 

Here's to a better 2017 and may we all get it sooner rather than later. Merry Christmas!

Any *predictions* guys for applications in mid-May guys? I guess they may get processed by the end of January. Hope IMMI will speed up after holiday.

It could count as a July app,since clock restarts if visa lodges after nom approval. At any level this is a lucky one after all.

Hi Manson, the number of the Immi is usually on the letter you received when you apply for your PR, Acknowledge Letter with your application ID. I called them yesterday and I got told they are checking processes from the beginning of April, and when I said that I knew some people from June that got approved they said that the applications are usually in a Queue for allocation but there was some random cases allocated before. (We never know)

I was called to immigration department direct regarding my application status and my MA also rang them for any updates but same answer everytime

not surprised, u will keep getting same reply until your co allocated, by then u could call co who has your file on hands

I was rang to immi in September that time lady told me early feb file under in process after that in November I called again and same answer again yesterday I was called and same reply again and again early fab application under in process what's wrong with them because we can see here June approval as well.

co has been allocated to your app? otherwise who did you call?

At first we thought that the application will get refused as the nomination was filed under Developer Programmer and the Visa Application skill assessment is under Software Engineer, but all went through fine.

These r not new rules yet, just some possibilities, but sure they might have some impact on decisions about pr approval. But the bright side is we still have a.chance to somehow push co forward for now

You can't pay fee without Invoice. Every applicant got different reference number printed on Invoice.

My nomination done and i seen the case officer request only secondary applicant English. So what do you think about my case.

this means you got noting to worry about and will get the pr sooner or later, more like sooner than later despite the impact of xmas

C.O call me and send me invoice straightway. I think you or your M.A need to call them and request them to generate invoice.

Actually my CO call me this morning and ask for 2nd Vac. I asked him about nomination, he said its all done. I got nomination approval in next 10 minuts and he also send me 2nd instalment invoice

Received my confirmation today (actual grant date was Saturday the 10th), so glad this is over. Now I can start the citizenship countdown...!
