You might have already tried this also but Nippers down at the Surf Club is a great way to meet friends of his own age. My kids, aged 12, 10 and 7, all love it and the baby will start in around 5 years time. Unfortunately the season finished at the weekend but I am sure any of the surf clubs on the northern beaches would be more than helpful if you pop along? I think you can only apply after the 4 year mark, I am pretty sure it is a question on the online application you need to provide dates of your first arrival etc (which I presume they must check)

I sent our stuff via the Express Courier International, which cost $54.10 (well two times that as I didn't include the original Birth Certificates the first time). Arrved int he UK within 3 days and I got the passport back yesterday. I think it took around 4 weeks total (less if you send everything the first time around) Chris
