  1. hi Jacboaug2016, someone said here -can't remember the exact source or legal basis they gave- that when it comes to salaries IMMI is usually fine if the difference is less than $2,000. You can probably find the original post if you do some research within this forum thread.
  2. may I ask you what did they request from you? and how come did they ask you twice for additional info?
  3. Some people have been requested to fill and submit the infamous Form 80 even though they had lodged their application way before December, 14th, when they made it a requirement for everyone. It may be happening the same with this... as usual with DIBP, it's up to the CO to ask whatever they want.
  4. wow... hope they don't end up making your role redundant, mate! I was wondering, what happens if you're granted the PR and your role is then made redundant? Does the employer have to notify Immigration or once the Nomination and PR are granted, whatever happens to the role is no longer considered a "change on circumstances"?
  5. hi Enri! almost in the exact same situation. Is it TRT or Direct Entry in your case? good luck everyone!
  6. hi all, I'm one of those who waited until the company got the Nomination approved (in October) to submit my Visa application (early November). As a consequence, my Visa application must have gone to the queue and after this long I feel like this whole process is taking forever... I've seen a few cases where applicants have been asked for Form 80 and some other documents (Education / Qualifications). I'm wondering whether submitting now all Form 80 and Education / Qualifications for me and my partner will somehow make any difference as in the application being taken by a Case Officer sooner. Still undecided because as some of you may know, filling in Form 80 really is a pain in the butt. Congrats to everyone who got their PR and best of luck to everyone else waiting for the big news!
  7. hi, ss9999! have you also submitted this Declaration Form here http://www.border.gov.au/WorkinginAustralia/Documents/declaration-form-visa-applicant.pdf ? Or is it just a new thing that only applies to applications lodged after 14/12/2015 ( as I understand from this page http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work-1/payment-for-visas-declaration-requirement )? You'll get it soon, mate! you're nearly there! Cheers!
  8. wow those were really the good days... I wonder what has changed since then... massive budget cuts affecting DIBP?
  9. hi mate, "12 oct, got nomination": did you mean the Nomination was approved on 12/10? May I ask you when did you / your company / your MA lodge the Nomination? 14/10 visa submitted and 3/12 case allocated to CO sounds like a pretty fast timeline, lucky you!
  10. hi @mengmianzzz , by "12 oct, got nomination" you mean the nomination was approved? may I ask you when did you / your company lodge your nomination? 14/10 visa application and 3/12 allocated CO sounds like a really fast timeline! lucky you!
  11. Seems like we both wanted to be on the safe side and wait for the Nomination to be approved before lodging the Visa application. I'm pretty much on the same situation except the company lodged the Nomination in May, it was granted in October and then I lodged my Visa in early November (4/11). So based on your dates, seems like I should be expecting early April... I can't believe I still have to wait that long for my PR (hope not). Anyway, I better forget about it for a while happy weekend to everyone!
  12. hi everyone, I've been a long time watcher of this thread and I'm posting today for the first time. My company lodged the Nomination on 15/05 (TRT), they were requested further evidence on 17/09 and the Nomination was finally approved on 22/10. I waited until the Nomination got approved to then submit my Visa application since I considered it the safest option (I've heard there's no chance to get a refund in case the Visa application is refused). I've heard all sorts of situations in cases like mine... I've got a couple of friends that did it the same way and it only took them 6 weeks to get their Visa granted (they applied once the Nomination was approved, too). Although I'm seeing 4 to 5 months in most cases, according to the Spreadsheet. Thanks everyone for your messages here and best of luck to you all! ps. already added my case to the Spreadsheet. Thanks sapphilor for your signature reminder
