1. I expect that it will be via your agent. I know that in my case the agent email address is registered.
2. If you get that far and do not get the letter to print you may need to set your browser to allow pop ups. I had my browser set to stop all pop ups and could not get the all important letter. However it turns out I did not need the letter when I got to the medical centre!
3. My local solicitor gave me bulk discount worked out at about £3.50 a signature.
4. Also waiting. No contact since lodge date. Been over 2 months now. How many times can you check your immi account for updates in one day/night?!? Really hoping to hear something soon.
5. Invitation rounds will be held once monthly from July 2015, dates of rounds will be advised in advance of round. The maximum numbers of invitations to be issued in the month of July 2015 invitation round are as follows: [h=4]6 July 2015[/h]

[TH=bgcolor: #4D4D4D !important]Visa subclass[/TH] [TH=bgcolor: #4D4D4D !important]Maximum number[/TH]

Skilled - Independent (subclass 189) 2300

Skilled - Regional Provisional (subclass 489) 30

Note: This will not have any impact on state or territory government nominations for subclass 489 - Skilled Regional (Provisional) (state or territory nominated) visas and nominations for these visas can continue as normal.
6. and while I was looking.. http://www.teachingaustralia.co.uk/contact/ who are registered MIRA agents.. But it appears that they are actually this bunch.. http://www.violetpopsiclemedia.com and in case you want to see their current brands/ companies ... http://www.violetpopsiclemedia.com/brands/
7. and it would appear these people have the same phone number and website design... http://electricianaustralia.co.uk/contact-details/
8. it appears their google+ page is up and running https://plus.google.com/+Theimmigrationadvisoryservice/posts it has a different contact number..

Phone +44 (0) 203 282 7137

9. If the date last updated is not due to you lodging papers I would look to see if they have sent you an email. To the right of the last updated date is a drop down box where you can select show correspondence
10. Congratulations on getting a delay mail. I I will keep on checking my application and hoping!!
11. CO - case officer. Once you have lodged your 189 visa and paid your fee and uploaded your documents, your application sits there awaiting a CO to be allocated who will then review your application and either 1 issue you a visa 2 send you a delay mail (as the visa number has reached the cap for this year - up to end June ) or 3 request more details from you.
12. Not got one yet. Second and final Skype interview next week. But they were talking about a start date if mid July!
13. Thanks. Though I was being hopeful! Looks like 457's also have 2-3 month timelines.
14. Hi, Does anyone know if a job offer based on the expected visa will in anyway speed up the process (i.e jump the queue in the CO review etc)? Or will I still have to wait until (expected) July for a visa grant (once a CO is assigned)...
15. Hi, I am using GoMatilda - and they so far are very good - hopefully my visa will be granted shortly (depending on what I have read about the 2013/2014 year being full!) Alan Collett is the MD of Go Matilda and is on this site and often answers questions (as do other migration agents - not to put others down!)
16. Hi my understanding is that you have 2 options 1. Get the medical and request a lead shield and hopefully get your grant whilst your wife can fly- newborn baby is then born in Aus and gets automatic Australia passport 2. Write to put visa application on hold until after birth and then add newborn to the application- add another $900 (or whatever the chord amount is) good luck jon
17. Link to the SOL to help you see if your qualification is on the list http://www.immi.gov.au/Work/Pages/skilled-occupations-lists/sol.aspx
18. Yeah. Finally got the CPA to sign off work history - so much paperwork and thanks to Alan for his help and patience. So now lodged 29/4. Medicals booked for next Friday. All else already uploaded. Fingers crossed they don't want the form 80 as that will be painful to complete
19. Hi there, Would love to get your views on if it is worth bringing the following car from the Uk? Merc ML320 CDI Sport 2008 3 litre auto about 60,000 miles has some upgrades (inc tow bar) Thanks Jon
20. southampton is 10am. I phoned them and asked why mine were not shown and was told to wait till 10am..
21. I think 'tomorrows' has already happened at midnight Aus time (so 1pm uk time today) - so if you have not had the invite, you have missed out
22. Yes, my bad - the 27th March and earlier 60 point EOI submission people should hopefully get pulled out of the hat on the 10th April and not the 3rd.
23. It all depends on your points I think - for 60 point'er.. cutoff 8th Feb for 20th Feb selection 20 Feb for 13th March selection guessing 13th March for 27th March selection and 27th March for the 3rd April selection. I.e. you need to wait one whole selection round from what I can gather.. still waiting here
24. Would also recommend them, they are professional, Alan seems to work all hours (and for me their office is just down the road making it simple to deliver documents to them) Awaiting Skills Assessment at the moment - counting the days for it to be done, Jon
