Eek I was expecting under £4k rather than closer to £5k. Speaking to movers at Expos I suspect that they are giving the lowest possible quote. Have just done an online quote for PSS (after being panicked by this thread ;-) ) and it is coming out at £2,300 - £2,800 for a 20ft door to door UK to Brisbane + insurance on top. Will feel disappointed if it comes out substantially more that this when the do formal quote. How much roughly is insurance? Will be keeping an eye out to see what other quotes people have had.

benthomas - that is what I did. Form is designed to fill in by computer so I am sure this will be fine. Also had problems trying to downsize the pdf...

Have just spent an hour on 1 form 80. OH just has to do his now. Any other forms apart from the usual that people are putting on? Don't want to miss anything else.

Brisbane or Sunshine Coast - depends on work availability. Are you going to try and secure a job in the UK or go and chance it?

Hi, My husband needed the full 20 points. It was doable but with quite a lot of work. We paid £20ish for an extra online course and then worked through all of the exercises. You definitely need to put the practice in as the test has lots of trick questions and needs to be answered in a particular way. Not easy to get full marks, even with a university education!

Thanks - have done a bit of googling and see that some people get asked and others don't. I suppose I might as well complete it to save being asked for it later. Looks a bit tedious though. Many thanks for the link.

I haven't done a form 80. I can't see it on the list of required docs. Is it vital/ good idea to complete? Which bit are you uploading it to? Thanks

I have just submitted mine:-) V exciting and a lot more straight forward than I was expecting. Just about to embark on uploading of docs. A waiting game now. Just hope I have gone everything entered correctly but have triple checked all my typing!!!

Hi, Just want to check this: Have front loaded visa health assessment. Have opened immi account and completed health declaration. Have got HAP ID and had assessment. Apparently results were uploaded onto the system on 3 Jan. If I log on to emedical all I get is my basic details. Is this correct? Is my understanding right that you don't find out the results until after you have lodged your visa application? With the next invitation round on Friday getting nervous that I haven't done everything correctly!! Thanks Su

Hi everyone I am new to this forum and need some advice. My husband submitted an EOI on 21 December for a 190 visa. After reading this forum I think a 189 would have been the way to go... Husband has 70 points (All validated!!) And then 5 for state sponsorship. We only want to live in QLD so thought this would be quicker. It appears that we were wrong on this front. Heard nothing yet from QLD. Can the EOI be changed? As you may have guessed we aren't using a migration agent Any help / advice/ comments v welcome. Thanks Su
