I know I'm being impatient but I check the visa tracker like 100 times a day and it seems to be filling up really slowly. some days there seem to be 6/7 grants given and then like today only 1? Im so close now to finding out if we will get our visa I can't think of anything else!

Can anyone tell me when using a shipping container if it matters what boxes are used to fill it? I mean do you get them supplied as part of a package or do you source your own?

I'm checking daily too. It seems there hasn't been much happening on the tracker lately but starting to change now. It's strange how people are getting COs as people with later dates seem to get CO earlier than people with later dates sometimes. I was really hoping to hear something by mid February but it's so hard to tell. The waiting is killing me. We can't move till the kids finish the school year anyway but it's just the not knowing if it will even happen that's awful. We want this so bad I'm just so scared that we've made a mistake somewhere and won't get a grant. . Thinking of all those out there in the same position

It says that all documents must be certified copies but other people are saying they didn't certify theirs and they were ok. Guess it depends on CO so I'm gonna wait and see what happens.

I have. I didn't see the bit where it said you had to certify them until I had already uploaded them. I'm hoping they are gonna be ok.

Is anyone else paranoid their visa is going to be refused? It's such a long and expensive process and I am so desperate to get that grant. I just can't believe that I could be as little as a month away from getting it. Seems like things like this only happen to other people you know. I'm just scared that I've missed something small,even tho I have no reason to.

Hi everyone I too am obsessively checking the visa tracker too. I'm hoping to hear something about mid feb judging by the tracker. I too have a house to sell but was going to put it up once I had the all clear on the visa just in case. I notice others are putting theirs up for sale before visa grants. Was just wandering the reasons for this, it's always good to hear from others in case they have any good ideas!

Hi. My family had ours on the 6th jan. We had urine sample taken,chest X-ray, basic eye test, reflexes checked, weight, height, and doctor had a quick feel around abdomen and pelvis area and listened to chest. Doctor chats with you first and asks questions about anything that might be important. Seems it depends a little on who you see as half my family were seen by a different doctor and didnt need to undress into a gown. Was very efficient and relaxed and friendly. Don't worry

Hi! We put in for our visa 189 on the 19th dec. Everyday feels like a week. Just want to start our new life. Letting the kids finish school first and planning on moving august

Had our medicals yesterday. There are 6 of us and were split into two to see two doctors. My doctor wanted me in a cotton gown for all my checks and my two sons had to strip down to underwear. He was very thorough and pleasant. My husbands doctor didn't request him or my daughter or other son to undress. Their doctor wasn't as thorough and didn't ask as many questions. Seems it depends on who you get. Had ours done in Knightsbridge London and everyone was very pleasant.

Got our invite on the 18th put in for the visa straight away and are just uploading everything now. Medical on 6th January and police checks sent off today. -
You are both already in oz. lucky you. I was wandering if you could advise on what the central coast area is like if you know it. Also we don't want to live near the city , we are currently living in a village in Kent that has a population of 3000 and has 3 towns about 1/2 hour away in different directions. Something similar to that would be perfect for us. Only other thing is we want to be fairly near to a beach . We need to have enough nearby for the children but far enough away to avoid city life. We all don't like city life. Any advice would be great

Hi all, we got an invite on 18/12/14 and applied for 189 visa same day. Medicals are booked for 06/01/15. It is my husband, four children(17,15,12,10) and myself that are making the move. Hubby is a rail signal electrician so he is main applicant. Where is everyone planning on living in oz? We are hoping for NSW but depends on work obviously.

Me,my husband and 4 children(10,12,15,17) are planning on moving August 2015. We are currently waiting for an invite to apply for the 189 visa but hoping to get one in the next week. We are looking at moving to new south Wales. Not sure where yet but like the look of the central coast and south of Sydney. My husband is a signal technician on the railway so anyone that has any advice on jobs for him would love to hear from you!

Hi everyone, I am new to this site and my husband put in our EOI on the 06/12/14. I'm not expecting an invite until the next round which is 19/12/14 I believe. Am looking to share experiences with other people in the same position. Our family of 6 (me, hubby and 4 kids)are hoping to move to oz about July/August 2015 when the children finish school for the summer.
