Just to let you all know, once you get located a team, keep ringing them. I got my grant this morning.

After ringing immigration again this morning, 15 mins later I got the golden email. One very happy person now

I applied in Jan, still waiting for grant, going to ring up tomorrow to check again whats going on. Need to get sorted now been going on to long.

Rang the Adelaide office at 7:00am UK time. They said they would look into my application today and would email or ring me. So the waiting continues, the waiting is the worst part but keep the faith everyone. Even tho most have already got the magic email.

Would I be right in thinking I am the only January applicant now who has got the grant, something tells me this is not good. I uploaded PC from UK and Australia on 1st April, had medicals done on 30th March but they didn't get uploaded until 13th April which is after the 28 days you get given. I am now panicking that I have gone over the time allowed, do any of you think this could be the case or should I just ring the Adelaide team and ask them. Thanks for your help Ben.

I applied for my visa 16th jan, I only got conduct from CO on 16th March, so don't worry everyone it will come just takes time. I am still waiting for my grant.

My medical info has been uploaded, so now the wait for the grant carry on. Its all out of my hands now, excited but also nervous as there is nothing I can do about it now. When some of you have rang Immigration what did in England did you ring, just so I know so if/when I get impatient I know what time to ring haha.

If your bridging visa has been granted I would not worry, as soon as your current visa is canceled you bridging visa will start.

Can I ask how you found out if medicals have been uploaded. I did my medicals on 30th March and still not sure if been uploaded or not.

This part of the waiting game, medicals and police checks all done is worse then the first wait to hear off them. My immi account says nothing has happened since 19th March, so I guess it is true that they don't look back into your file until after the 28 days they give you to get all information to them. So I have another long 8 days at least of waiting to do. I just want to book my flights and go back now.

Completed our medicals on Monday, uploaded both sets of PC on Tuesday. Now back to the waiting game, the bit I hate the most, nothing I can do other then check emails every morning.

How long have most people waited from uploading PC and completing medicals to receiving visa grant. Got my medicals on Monday, got Aussie PC just waiting on British. I also think hunk I have been given a case office team and not a set person yet does that make a difference or is there a chance they could still want more info after medicals. Thanks.

Have ordered all police checks( UK and Australian), medicals booked for 30th. Things starting to sink in now. How long do most people wait to get grant after medicals and PC's done?

Can anyone help me, I have received my request for more information from CO. My part has asked for police checks and medicals, my partners part says police checks, chest x-ray after baby born and then non migrating family member to have medical. There is only my partner and I on the visa application. So I don't know what this part means, my partner is going to do full medical in the hope we can move back to Perth ASAP.

I got the email this morning requesting my PC and medicals. I finally feel as if we are getting somewhere, the waiting and not knowing part is the hardest. Keep your heads up people, the contact from them will come it just takes time, and it seems to take longer then it really does.

I think it's time for me to book my medical and get PC done. I was always told to wait till asked for them but it seems like most peoe getting direct grant when front loading. What have other people done as I'm not sure what to do for best. Thanks

I applied for the visa on 16th January, I have a feeling that I have not given enough information on my partner and I been together. I am hoping that I get a CO within the next month, Would people recommend getting PC and medicals booked snd sorted or wait to be asked for them. I notice that some people have who applied in January have been given their grant, so the rest of us January appliers should hear something soon. Good luck everyone

Is that true, if you upload colour scans they don't need to be certified. I thought they had to be certified no matter what.

Hi all, I am new to all this. I have had my EOI invite for the 189 visa I want. I don't have two letter from my past employers to prove I worked for them( I have one but it is not written in the correct way, but have pay slips from the other). Has anyone used an 'Employment History Letter' from HMRC to cover this and did it work. I don't want to apply for the visa and it get rejected because I haven't been able to prove 5 years of paid employment. Thanks for your help Ben.
