As both of you applied throught transition stream. Did you have to sit for IELTS or did you just submit a letter from school confirming English as Medium of Instruction. If you submitted a letter. Do you have a format of such letter?

I see you applied through transition stream (186 to PR). Did you take IELTS or did you claim for IELTS exemption through 5 years education in secondary and/or higher education in English medium?

Has anyone here saved a draft of the application form for 187 they filled up online? (especially those on the 187 TRTS). I am trying to look for a draft application form because I want to see what questions are being asked.

May I suggest that you seek a second opinion from a registered migration agent?

Thanks for the reply. I was having doubt with what the employer's agent said. I will seek the opinion of several registered migration agents so I can discuss with the employer about getting another agent.

My employer's SBS approval which was used to lodge my 457 in 2012 has expired and they have not re-applied for a new SBS. I am now more than 2 years with the employer and employer willing to nominate under RSMS 187 transition stream but my employer was told by an agent that he cannot lodge 187 TRTS because his SBS has expired and he does not have a current SBS. Is this true? Is a current/unexpired SBS approval really needed to lodge RSMS 187 Transition stream application?

You have to have your positive IELTS done before you apply for your visa.

Thanks blossom. So if I sit for IELTS and get positive result after the nomination has been lodge but before my the visa part is lodge then I still meet the English requirement, right?

What does "must meet at time of application" mean for English language requirement? does application mean nomination application or visa application?

Hi! I am getting some quotes for agent's fee to prepare and lodge an RSMS 187 Transition stream nomination only (not including the visa application part). Some agent's quoted professional fees plus disbursement fees. I am just wondering what are the possible disbursements needed for an RSMS 187 TRT stream nomination and does anyone have an estimate on how much this disbursements will cost total? Will it be more than $500?

DoI need to perform ALL thetasks/roles listed in the ANSZCO job description in order to beeligible for the 187 visa? what if out of the 11 taskslisted in the ANSZCO, I only perform 9 of this tasks, does this makeme ineligible for 187 visa?
