  1. Hey guys, so I logged into my immiacount about 5 minutes ago for the 100000th time and saw "granted" where processing used to be, about two minutes later I received my golden email from my CO in Parramatta. My time line is as follows: Nomination lodged, 27/02/2014 Nomination granted, 14/04/2014 186 Visa lodged, 24/06/2014 (Melbourne) Loaded all docs except medicals, 26/06/2014 Medicals done, with high blood pressure on the day, 29/08/2014 186 Visa granted, 25/09/2014 (Parramatta) High risk country Never heard anything from my CO until now. Hell yeah, time to pop the champers. Good-luck to all you guys still waiting. You next jessiejam
  2. From what I've being seeing so far, the late June crowd have slowed down big time. At a guess, I think they have loads of late June applications.
  3. Both jessiejam and myself are 24th June and still waiting. My nomination has been approved about a month before.
  4. My nerves are completely shot jessiejam, I'm seriously so over this bloody waiting game now. I really hope at least one of us get a grant this week......fingers crossed. :arghh:
  5. One of the guys on the "pomsinaus" site in the 187 thread's friend got a visa grant today in the 186 sub-class and he lodged on the 27th.......I'd love to know how these applications get assigned.
  6. Hi Param, I applied on the 24th June in the 186 sub-class and haven't heard anything yet....Do you have any idea what office your friend got processed through?
  7. Some good news: Email Updated on 10 September 2014 Please note that we are currently allocating ENS and RSMS applications that were lodged at the end of June 2014.

  9. My nomination took about 1 month, which seems to be the average time for most applications.
  10. That is very, very unfortunate. I hope we don't get asked that because South African police are just the worst to work with, it will take us forever to sort out. At least you guys are officially in the queue now and we submitted our app a few days after you so fingers crossed.
  11. According to the DIBP website its valid for a year and the waiting time just to make an appointment is about 3-4 weeks. Also, as far as I know......yes you'll have to redo it if it goes past the 1 year.
  12. Nothing yet but all my PCC's and health checks have been submitted (with everything else), I lodged my application on the 24th June. Many of the applicants on this forum that's been granted a 186 visa didn't hear anything from a case officer and didn't even know they had one unit they woke up one day and found that their visa's have been approved. That was enough motivation for me to get all my docs in order before I even hear from a case officer.
  13. That's exactly what I did, the day i saw the "organize your health" link on my immiaccount, I arranged to do my medicals (and many others on here done the same). I done my medicals last week and as for PCC's, they are valid for a year so I would suggest doing them ASAP because all these things will just prolong your process.
  14. Hi paulinmelbourne, I saw this on our immiaccount today. I was looking for the A or B grade but cant find it anywhere, hopefully someone here can tell me if it's possible to check.
  15. Does "Health has been finalized for this person for this visa subclass based on the information provided to the department", mean that my high blood pressure reading in the medical has been accepted?
  16. Hi guys, just an FYI that I just came across. Here's some interesting info on the medicals. http://www.immi.gov.au/gateways/panel_doctors/
