Thanks to all. Dear one of our relative has applied for 173.They have a son of 23.5 years and his study is regular and currently doing masters in mechanical engineering, fully dependent on them and included him in application. Has they done the right thing to include him? They are really worrying about their son because their agent is not clearing the things about their son. If they are able to get the visa and after two years when they will apply for 143, is it required that their son has to continue his study during that period of 2years while living on 173 in order to get 143. Any one pls put some light on this.

Hello everyone. Im Mailing the department regarding the date which they are assessing for 143 but they are not replying. Any idea about the date which they are assessing. Our lodgement date is 11/9/2013.

hii, everyone. Guys its really a frustrating news for the applicants of 173 and 143. Our agent just informed us that the aus govt has reduced the quota for providing visa for these categories from 30000 to 20000per year. Now it takes for almost 22 to 24 months for grant of visa for those who applied after june 2013. we r also in that category as our lodgement date for 173 is 11 sept 2013. This wait is really frustrating. Although paying too much fee, waiting time is also too much . What a great coincidence...This is not fair for them.Also autoreply provides same dates as that of one month ago.

thanks dear. anyone having any idea about the department current assessing month. m sending them mails from the last month but they dont even providing me the autoreply. our lodgement date for 173 is 11 sep 2013, how much further we have to wait.
