  1. Hi odies We arrive in perth on 20 July on 600s now until the 143's are granted and will be staying near Joondalup for a while so a meet up would be very welcome. Cheers Steve
  2. Yes I'd like to know that, tried looking on the immi website but no information from what I could see
  3. Happy anniversary to us - two years in the waiting room today - tried to get out of our seats to stretch our legs but couldn't get up! Anyhow we've got our 600 visas now so off to Perth on the 19 July to wait in a better waiting room! All the best Steve
  4. Hi all We've applied for the 600 visas as we have flights booked for July but as yet after 3 weeks have heard virtually nothing. We do have some time left on our e651's and can travel out on those but can we remain onshore in Australia when the 600's are granted? Stress - what stress??!! Bet wishes Steve
  5. Just a question to those who have now got bored waiting or who have no or little alternative, like us, and lodged an application for the 12 month e600 visa. What time frame did you get grant in and was the procedure complex for you or straightforward? Cheers Steve
  6. That must be a huge relief - but don't go holding your breath eh??!
  7. Glad you had a good flight and have arrived safely - bet you wish you were here!!
  8. Hope you hgad a safe journey - see you in a couple of months!
  9. Best of luck mate - see you there!! Are Emirates charging for the chauffeur?
  10. Hi all Silly question perhaps? We're trying to work out what the value of our belongings are for shipment, do the insurers Letton Percival require a full inventory with a cost for every single item, ? We find their paperwork pretty ambiguous Any advice would be great as it's doing our heads in!! Cheers Steve
  11. Hi Alan I get the distinct feeling that nobody is very interested in us until we have our visas in our hands (or inbox). Frustrating! Cheers Steve
  12. Hi Roy Alas you won't be the last! Hope you hear very soon Steve
  13. B Hi To put your details in the signature line go to settings (next to log in at the top right hand corner of the page) then go to edit signature on the left hand side. Hope all goes well for your mom Steve
  14. Hi Phil Sounds hectic but good for you. We're in a rental so no issues there other than the removals and then cleaning it out, just hoping the continues to get stronger so that our money is worth more when we send it over. We'll all definitely need a pint when we get out there and I look forward to it, I bet Steely will be in on it too?! Enjoy tomorrow. Steve
  15. I see you've gone Aussie already Maisie!! For what's it's worth, I recall reading that you do not have to have a visa "label" put in your passport nowadays but can do if you're willing to pay extra for it but I don't know what the benefits would be. All the very best Steve
  16. Hi Welcome to the waiting room! If you look at the various contributors signatures on this thread you will see how we are all progressing. You can also email parents@immi.gov.au and enter "test" in the subject line and you'll get auto updates from immi and they are updated on a weekly basis, you can email every week or whenever you wish, if you don't get a reply they haven't updated the answer since you last had a reply. Today's update says they are taking up to 24 months to assess applications. Difficult to say how many rejections there are as that information doesn't seem to get posted very often. Good luck with your application and keep checking this thread as its a great source of information and comfort on the long road ahead. Steve
  17. Can only suggest that you ring them if it's practical to do so. Have you checked that the payment has been cleared and do you have proof of posting and delivery. Best of luck Steve
