They have no procedure to follow. They do whatever they want.they took 5 months for my application to respond. One of my friend got an appointment date and then jus before the appointment date,they call him and said your appointment has been rescheduled and guess what. He is still waiting .he applied in dec 2015.still waiting for the test date.so we cant really do anything except waiting.keep calm and hope for the best. Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

hi anyone can drive on overseas licence in oz for 3 months in NSW and 6 months in VIC after getting permanent visa. and its different for different states. but if you are from UK you can convert it into Australian licence and you dnt need to sit in the drive test. but must have to give computer based test to make sure that u know all the rules and laws to drive in oz. and you will be given equivalent licence. e.g if you hold overseas licence for more than 3 year you will be given full licence. otherwise learner for less than 1 year,P1 for 2 year P2 for less than 3 year experience. the following policy is for Victorian licence:- if you hold a permanent visa (issued under the Migration Act 1958) you may drive on your overseas driver licence if it's written in English or accompanied by an English translation or international driving permit for: 6 months from the date you first entered Australia (if the permanent visa was issued before you entered Australia), or 6 months from the date when the permanent visa was issued (if the permanent visa was issued to you while in Australia). hope this helps

No english test is required for jobs in oz. Permanent residency is enough to find a basic job. Secondary applicant need to pay around A $ 5000 If doesnt hold a eligible passport.or ielts 4.5 etc Sent from my SM-G925I using Tapatalk

Jus put whatever u can.or leave it blank if u can. They will ask you for original during appointment.or write a letter identifying ur issue and upload it. No issues.it happened to me. come on they are not just frontline staff. they are responsible immigration officers.anyways if they say yes you are approved then yes you are. so who cares .all we need is our aussizz passport. :laugh:

hi i dnt think the person who interviews you is ur case officer. coz when u go for appointment there were 15-20 officers sitting over there. and ur turn comes according to receipt they issued on your entry. and they can do further checks after appointment. the officer just simply collects all the documents and uploads to your file. and the rest is on the case officer.when he approves, when not. but if the officer says yes ur approved means u r approved coz no further documents or checks needed.but that officer is not your case officer for sure.

its not a link actually. it is like a button press it to change the appointment. and redirected to client id and surname after that you can see the available dates and times. but it is different for everybody. this service is for melbourne only. you can see the dates for melbourne only.and they wrote in the email that its a new service. if u get any issues ring them.i have no issues to send the link but u can't do anything with it. thank you keep calling them to change the date.may be someone postpone his/her appointment. whoever calls first will get that date. very simple

Hey guys i got my 187 last year in jan 2015. I waited for 4 months and now they are taking 8 months. Whats goin on? I applied for citizenship in feb 2016 and they took nearly 5 months to respond. The normal processing time is 2 weeks. So all i want to say that be calm. You can get ur approval email anytime. They slowed down coz of elections and quota was finished for the year 2015. Now they start processing the applications. Dnt waste ur time calling them or emailing them. They wont let you know anything except your application is under process. So sit and wait. It will be over soon. Gud luck

can't u able to reschedule it online. they started a new service in which you can reschedule ur appointment date online.i think that is available in some areas only. i get an email on 18july for an interview on 19 August but i managed to rescheule it to 19 july (fortunately very next day). or u can call them no. of times to change it coz some people postpone their date for some reasons. i am sure you will get it if you try. i can still see fluctuations in the test dates.sometimes no available dates for a month or two. but sometimes 1 or 2 are available for some days. so keep trying calling them. thank you

all done now. passed the test and waiting for approval letter. it was online application but was ministerial discretion coz of unlawful for 1 day.long story. they are processing applications on individual basis. so keep calm and wait. thank you

Finally the citizenship appointment has been scheduled. Applied on 28 feb... waited waited waited and waited Plenty of calls and emails to the department RECEIVED an email today for the test which will be on 19 Aug 2016 But fortunately managed to scheduled to tomorrow on 19 july 2016. fingers crossed further step to be a citizen. best wishes to those who applied..

hi janine i received aknowledgement from the department about my online complaint, but they wrote the same story. every application processed individually. so wait until department contact you. its already 4.5 months. no test date, no reply.. and they said it may take 6-9 months or even longer.

hi janine Did you husband get a response? one of my friend is waiting since December 2015. he got a test date in feb 2016 then department ring him and said that his test has been postponed and date will be mailed soon. no news after that. its more than 6 months. they are not responding to emails and saying its under process when he call them. hope you get ur soon.
