Do you mind me asking how much you paid? We are trying to work out if we could get our stuff in a move cube box but think we might have to go with a small container.

To who ever reads this... so my little girl has had her rabies jab and is due for her blood test on Thursday. Do I need to get any paperwork ready to take with me to the vets yet? I have been round and round in circles on the DEFRA website and can't find what I think I am looking for. I emailed them the day she had her jab - over 3 weeks ago and still have not had a reply. :sad: I would be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction please, Many thanks, Kasia

I'm so confused, I've heard loads of people on here talking about this new change, but when I took my cat to the vet the other day he assured me it was still 30 days?!!!!!

I took my cat for her rabies jab on Friday and I'm sure the vet said it was 180 days before they leave quaranteen, so I guess you can take off the 30 days Please don't quote me though x

Oh wow, Thanks guys! you lot are amazing, thanks so much for helping, can't believe how quick you all are at replying :biggrin: So, we are applying for our VISA through my fiance who is an air con / refrigeration engineer (he needs some help to get sorted too but that is another thread!) He has his skills test at the end of March and then we just have our medicals - which if you saw my other post - I'm nervous about as I've just had a sporting accident and damaged the ligaments in my knee. I really hope its all sorted as I don't want to go into a medical exam on crutches….doh! I am currently a primary school teacher, Early Years is my passion although I am also a PE teacher specialising in gymnastics. Our migrant agent has not been very helpful with advice for me, gave me an email address to write to but I never heard anything back. I have since started a search on the web and came across you guys.

Hi all, I'm really worried as we are due to have our medical in April but i've just had a sports injury - damaged the ligament in my knee I keep trying to tell myself that it won't effect the test but in truth I'm worried it could blow our chances of heading to OZ - can anybody help end my worries?!

Hiya! I would love some help / advice / anything at all to get me started on transferring my British BEd over to OZ. My family and I are a couple of steps away from completing our Visa and will be heading for the Gold Coast. We are all so excited but now the weeks are passing by I really need to find a job!
