So my parents got their PR visas and have now been in Australia for 2 years. They want to travel overses for about an year. Planning to leave in March 2018. Is there any procedure that they need to follow? Their PR visa was granted in 2015. Their first entry to Australia was in Jan 2016. I think they have 5 years from the date of entry. Please can you confirm if my understanding is correct? Thank You

Thanks for this info. Since my parents are already in the the queue my understanding is that their application will be processed in due course. I am hoping that this processing time will be expedited. Thanks again

Hi Alan My parents have applied under the 103 sub class. They are currently in the queue. I am concerned that these changes may somehow affect their processing time line. Will this be a negative impact. I realized the queue calculator has not changed since its last update in March 2014.... Do you know the quota allocation for 103 subclass for the year 2014-2015? Thanks for your help Is there anything you could to help check on status on an applicant? Many thanks again Mama Rock

Thanks - yes I realize there would not be any changes to policy at this point but was wondering if any one had any updates or CO assigned ....just curious to find out the queue dates that being processed at this point, since the queue calculator is not working Thanks again

Hi Fisher1 Yes that's correct - I think they have suspended the queue date calculator and had a notice to say it was under construction or something - Finally a notice after all this time. I guess it going to be the waiting game until we see it back up and running. Are you guys on the 103? Hopefully you will know your place in the queue - good luck

Thanks so much Freesia - will contact them and hopefully have an update. I also noticed on the DIBP site they now announce that the queue calculator is out of service and will soon be fixed. Looking forward to that. Hopefully you should hear back from them about your application soon - please do let me know when you do and would love to know the process from being assigned a case officer to grant of visa. Thanks for your help

Thanks Freesia for this update. Should I be also reaching out to Immi to check on status? Is your application dated 2007? Curious to find out which applications are being processed and how soon they estimate before 2008 applications are processed. I know this is a loaded question. I just felt better when the queue was constantly changing - as though they were working through it. I guess once can only wait but a timeline always helps. Thanks for your reply - it really helps know there are others in the same situation

Hi Fisher1 Did you apply recently? So you do have a queue date? My parents application is from 2008 - I have been checking and the queue keeps getting shorter every month or so. I havent seen a change for a while now. Since past July. Curious why no change

Thanks for this Freesia - I am encouraged to hear this. The application for my parents is May 2008 - hopefully it should not be too long then. Do you know the process from when you are next in line to having visa granted? Thanks so much for to everyone for their comments.:biggrin:

Anyone on the 103 queue? haven't seen the numbers in line change for a long time. Anyone knows why this has frozen? could it be due to change in government? thanks

Hi Does anyone know why 103 - queue dates have unchanged since Last July. I keep checking every week and its the same. No change. I am so worried. My parents have been in the queue since 2008. I thought we were close but this is very unsettling Any thoughts or advise will be greatly appreciated
