  1. Ok. Should I speak to quite a few just in case so I can get second opinions.
  2. I would like to hear your reasons why not very much Snifter please. And I mean I'm not doing this as a route to getting PR I am just simply asking can going from a year Tourist long stay to a student six months be done legally? Providing all the criteria are met?
  3. So do you still think I dont stand a chance then? They say speak to a professional and then you say they don't tell the truth, I just don't know who to believe any more?
  4. As were not going to live with each other straight away thats why I asked about the six month study visa so we get to meet our requirements just in case.
  5. cheers for that. This guy said in five years time and it was a free consultation so he aint gonna be getting a cent out of me lol Yes I have the funds. And the girl, we'll see how we go. If it is to be its to be if it is not it is not...
  6. I am asking a serious question, is it dooable? Maybe it wont gain me PR but is it dooable? And my other account was closed because I asked for it to be closed. I am more happier now and I have a good serious plan.
  7. Btw that pointless drama degree you kept saying wouldn't help me and how drama teacher wouldn't cut it, well apparently it will. I spoke to a registered professional yesterday who said if I went in as a private drama teacher and submitted an EOI in a years time after 3 years experience and a degree because of my age and English language skills I would almost defiantly get entry. So that's always a plan b. I still want your feedback but please be constructive.
  8. fair enough, I suppose youv'e just gotta take a chance and see. Thats why i wanna see how it goes for six months on a tourist visa. Spend six months living together on a tourist visa and a further six months on a student visa (to meet the requirement) Obs if all goes well.
  9. Yes of course, I know we must live together for 2 years. I will see how this year goes first but I am in love. How were those people lucky? Because they got their visas or because the person they went over to meet was their one true lover? Thank you for your help.
  10. yes. obs we are going to see how things go. And we need time to do this.
  11. Hi, thank you for the reply. Yes I have enough funds for a year on the tourism and I also have enough funds to do the student visa after. I just wondered if it was legal. I want to spend about 2 years in oz or a year and a half you see. So 1 year on the tourist long stay and then six months studying. I understand what your saying doing the student visa first then the tourist visa looks a bit dodgy.
  12. Hi, I am going to Australia for a year on the tourist visa after 1 year on that could I then apply for a six month study visa to do a business diploma. Or should I do it the other way round, 1 year study and six months tourist? Thanks, Jack
  13. I was reading this the other day I have to say I would just give up and come home tbh. And maybe try coming back on a student visa.
  14. Hello everyone ! Its me again. I am back, I am still in England still doing my degree. I have passed everything so far Doing good. Soon I am going back to Oz hopefully in June for 1 year. I am going to defer and do a hospitality course on the Student visa. Its sort of a gap thing so if it don't work I shall return and finish my degree. Am still looking for a sponsor but have kind of started seeing an Aussie on the net so who knows what situation i'll be in in one year wish me luck guys!!
