Thanks! so it won't necessarily mean that I have to enter within a year of my medical or police certificate? Is there a reason to wait until a CO is assigned? A lot of people seem to get them done ASAP.

Hi, I received my invitation to apply for a 189 Visa on Monday, and did so, paid the fee and have started uploading all my documentation. I'm looking at health checks and police checks now. However, I'm not looking to emigrate until Christmas 2014 - does entry to Australia have to be within 12 months of getting these documents? Is it best to wait until the new year or is that too long to wait? And finally, if I had to get them done again, would the cost be the same as the originals? Hi guys, I submitted my EOI on Wednesday (but 30th by Australian time) and have 75 points. As they invite on the first and third Monday of each month is there a chance I'll get invited to apply on Monday 4th? Or have I missed it due to the time I submitted my EOI?? Thanks teacherben

Hi, This is my first post so thanks in advance for any help!!! I've received a positive Skills Assessment from AITSL today - which is fantastic as I can now submit my EOI!! I have a question regarding the medical examination - 4 years ago in January I broke my leg pretty horrendously playing rugby - snapped my femur, destroyed my cartilage and snapped my ACL and medial ligaments. I've had operations to correct it and fix it and I'm now playing rugby again. I've been back playing for over a year and a half but it took me a good 2 years to get back to playing again. I play front row (read in to that what you will regarding size) but am active. Does anyone have any experience of having issues with this kind of thing? or advice? Thanks again for your help!!
