Cheers, guys. Going to ask our agent to chase status, again, as it is the middle of July. I really hoped we would know by now.

Haven't seen any grants generally, this week, it seems to have gone quiet. Has anyone checked Expat? I'm useless at navigating my way round their site.

Sorry to see you are still waiting don't give up, the relief you will feel getting the news you have been waiting for will be worth all the stress, wondering, in my thoughts and hope you get that news soon.

Received it this morning from a different CO. Yes my agent did send an inquiry email on 9th. Wen and Sailor I strongly suggest you to do the same.

To all those patiently waiting... I used tigerfeets advice and sent a polite email inquiring about the status of our application and two days later I received my Grant email.

Apparently my agent did sent an enquiry email on 30/6 but I think it was too soon. If we don't hear by early next week, I'll prompt her again.

Guess Eddieb7, Wen66 and I are the only Feb applicants awaiting our grants. Hope and pray we get it soon. Running out of patience.

Are we really the last ones? Oh my....lots of patience needed.

Our agent has just replied to my enquiry. She said they are getting grants through every day and it's only a matter of time. So fingers crossed, folks!:wink:

I have sent an email to our agent......asking them to enquire about our status. Not holding my breath but who knows.

I wouldn't mind so much, if time wasn't such an issue....

I'm actually from the March group looking to see how the Feb lot are getting on, any visas granted today? When did you submit wen66?

1st Feb Lodge. Getting rather anxious, as I am seeing some backlog visas and quite a few March going through but what about the Feb??

Am wondering because we needed to send extra docs in May, we may have gone to the back of the queue.......anyone else noticed this making a difference?

got the golden email

 

this is how it happened

 

430 am woke up to check my email..there was nuthing

 

picked up the phone called the dibp the lady asked me to wait till the co replays to my email and gave me a alternative email id

 

as i was going through my old emails found a number of the co and called and an angel picked my call checked my details and in 5 mins had my visa

 

cannot stand at one place complete thrilled and very very happy

Few got there grants few mins after talking to Dibp I don't know if it's coincidence or actual but having waited so long I DNt think it's such a bad idea

Someone did, on one of the threads, sorry, can't remember which. But I think they were told it may take a few weeks or so, to work through the backlog. Well, that was my understanding.

At least we are seeing the grants coming through, however random they may seem. Can't quite figure the method in their madness.

the waiting is killing me! I don't understand how the visa's are being granted either seems v random!!! argh!!
