hello everybody! just wondering if the Eu directive 2005/36 is still needed to get registration as a nurse from austria for example or if this is not valid anymore and you need the bachelor and all other diplomas/certificates are meaningless. does anybody has latest news about that?

Thank you for your answers! I´m thinking of a Bachelor of Teaching after the Diploma. Do you think that is impossible? Because Pre Primary Teaching is on the SOL list. I read that I might be able to study 3 instead of 4 years at University if i have the Diploma. We want to go to Sunshine Coast by the way

Hello there! My Husband and me are searching for the right visa at the moment. Our situation is a bit different to many others and quite complicated so we only have 3 choices. 1) 457 (not our preferred) 2)Business Visa (not sure if it´s worth it) 3) Student Visa Now we are looking into the student visa situation. If we take this one, I would love to take a Tafe course to make a big step and change my job. I´m thinking of a "Diploma of Early Childhood and Education". My question is: how are the job chances after I graduate in this course? Would there be a chance to get a visa (not 457) afterwards so that we can stay? (course has a 1 year duration) If needed, I´m thinking of a Bachelor in Early Childhood teaching. Would it be possible to go to University with a Diploma from Tafe? I hope someone can help me out the information jungle :cool:

Thank you!Ok so now we have the first problem. I'm at home at the moment(my daughter is 1)an I'm having parent time(?) until she is 2,5. So I'm not working as a nurse right now and anmac assesses nurses who are working the last 3months full time. I'm not going back to my concern we wanted to complete all the registration and visa stuff during my parent time and we thought of going to Perth where I start casua work. That means the end of ou plans right?

Hello. I´m a nurse from Austria and we´re planning to move to Perth/Suburbs 2015. I´ll sit the IELTS on the 28.9 (academic). I´ve searched a lot and already contacted ANMAC because I´m a bit confused. I hope you can help me Which way do I have to go to apply for the 189 or 190 visa? In Austria,we don´t have the registration system at the moment but my diploma has the EU directive 2005/36 and I´ll get an official certificate.Is it the assessment of ANMAC or APHRA? ANMAC told me that if I´ll apply for temporary visa or employed sponsored visa I do not need to get through the assessment of them. I´m totally confused Can you please tell me where I have to send my documents, translated and verified to after I´ve (hopefully)passed the IELTS? Thank you very much!

Hey there We´re planning to go to Perth/Suburbs 2015. I´ve to sit the academic IELTS on 28th September and I hope I can pass it with 7 in each part. When I pass the test we´ll start the process which may be the hardest as I could read so far....I´m a Nurse (Austria)and I´ve to get registered. ANMAC answered my question very quick. They told me,that it is maybe not necessary to get an assessment of ANMAC just of AHPRA. Alright, but they also said that I should contact DIAC for furhter questions and the exact answer of my registration enquiry. But I can´t find an Email Adress to contact. So I hope to get some answers and that we can move on :smile:
