Diesel motor mechanic (hubby not me) you may be lucky and get the grant really quickly as lots still are but for us I think we have lucked out and will have to wait. How they decide who has to wait and who don't is beyond me!?

Yes I spoke to my agent who had no problem in emailing CO, she did that yesterday and no reply as yet. We will either get a response and be told they have everything but got to wait or they may just not respond Or if we are extremely lucky we will will get the grant! I'm not holding up much hope to be honest as I think if they were going to give us the grant they would of done by now especially when I'm seeing February applicants getting theirs etc and a family who had their meds on same day as us got their grant that same week. I think we have drawn a short straw and been out in a queue until 1st July. I just hope nothing else gets requested or referred but I think we would of heard if that was the case. So all we can do is wait wait and wait some more! Xx

Still nothing..... I have a feeling we are going to have to wait until July but if I hear anything sooner I'll let you know. Think you guys were really lucky getting your grants, as I think now lots of people are being held until July.

Oh god I've now read about that form 80 being changed whats the chances of us being asked to complete that again????

Ok, I'll let her have half day to settle back in then ill email her. Let's hope this is all that's needed for us to get our grant this week! Can't relax at the moment x

Still nothing how the hell can someone who apply in February get theirs and we applied in jan! I'm going to email my agent today and ask her to email case officer. Any ideas how to best word this email? X

Good luck with the viewings, big step selling house. I felt quite emotional when we sold ours but that only lasted a few hours lol x

I hope so Vanduex as at the moment I feel in limbo! I've stopped answering my phone now to shipping companies, banks and money transfer lark!! Lol

Definitely sucks especially when everyone else seems to be getting theirs. I'm obviously happy for them but it just makes me think ours has been forgotten but I'm sure it's just me being completely impatient and paranoid! Xx

Hey am I reading correctly that visa processing times for a 189 skilled independent visa is 3 months? So if that's the case is that 3 months from lodgement or 3 months from meds? If it 3 months from lodgement then I should hopefully hear by mid April as we lodged mid jan. I'm just hoping this whole waiting until 1st July is absolutely worse case scenario!
