Hi Everyone, I am going to file my PR next month my points are following age & education - 50 1 year aus exp(software engineer)- 5 (Based on new ACS skills assesment for PR for Australian graduated student who either did PY or have related exp) Partner skills - 5 (My partners skill assessment was about to expire in DEC 2013 and we got it renewed before the rules changed Now my question is .. Can her extended skill assessment be used for partner skills or should we get a new skills assessment ?

Hi I got my 485 recently and planning to go for PR next year my current points are 50 with age and education, i have 1 year aus exp in IT i.e 5 points and partner skills of my wife i.e another 5 Since i have 60 Points, myself and my wife need 6 in ielts anyways. We both have 6 in ACADEMIC can we use that for GSM ? or should we both take General Thanks

Thanks for the reply, We both are now on BVA , we did not get a TRN yet , Our agent got our VEVO . Thats how i know am on BVA . Is not having an acknowledgment from Immi a concern ?

Hi, This is my story , i graduated with 2 years study and have all required documentation to lodge 485 visa. I got married to a girl(International Student) in Australia and she is currently on her student visa. Now that we are married she wants to cancel her student visa. So i want to apply her as part of my 485 visa. I am aware that she will be granted Bridging visa E. My question is , as a Main Applicant will i also be granted BVE or will be as usual a BVA?
