  1. hi geokarag23! may i know which team you're allocated? brisbane or adelaide?
  2. sorry @citation560XL i didn't mean to make you worry. you probably have a CO already just that he or she is not establishing contact yet. who knows you'll have a direct grant and that's good. the first email from CO is telling you you're already granted your visa. so all is good:)
  3. seriously? but someone who lodged at the same date as you was just allocated a CO today. i'm hoping to get mine next week as it's my 5th week though i already know which team is taking my case.
  4. Seems like 489ers are poorly represented here. There's not much information to compare notes with, especially on the waiting time for a CO to be allocated to visa grant. Let's provide our timeline so that we have a rough idea on how much more time we need to wait. Visa Lodged: 26 Sept 2013 CO Allocation: ? Visa Grant: ?
  5. hi both! under 489 too awaiting for CO now. CO allocation for prio 3 is actually within 5 weeks of lodgement:) good luck to us all!
  6. hi kezzle, sorry to hear about your situation. you may also wanna consider that the experience that they will assess should be post qualification. so would it mean that when you finally get your bachelor's degree, you'll need to work a year more in a relevant industry to be assessed positive? will they consider your ten years worth of experience? all the best!
  7. hi thunee71 you're just frontloading your medical. CO allocation is within 5 weeks and processing within 6 months. not yet there, not even close but good thing is that it's moving. all the best to us. cheers!
  8. hi kaiser, i did my medical after 3 oct prior to CO allocation. after you lodge your visa, you'll be prompt to upload documents and right down the list of documents is a link that reads 'Organise your health examinations'. click that link and it will show a new window with your details and a link at the bottom left side that reads 'Print Information Sheet'. i think this comes after you've answered several health related questions after you click the Organise your health examination links. when you're done with the questions, you will get a pdf file with your HAP ID. print that and just present it to the authorized clinic where you booked your medical exam. all the best!
  9. congratulatins liying. all the best on the next steps!
  10. hi cyberslam! congratulations on your 489 visa grant. was just wondering though if, like 190 and 189 you've got to activate your visa and make your initial entry within a stipulated period stated on your visa grant?
  11. hi liying, just my take on the matter. you may wanna take a closer look at your result. there's actually 2 parts to it, first is your qualification, and then the relevant work experience. with the qualification, they will tell you that your qualification is of the required level (so if it's phd then you can claim for it) with the work experience, they will tell you that it was assessed as highly relevant to the nominated occupation and completed at an appropriate skill level (so if they say that 3 out of the 5 years are relevant, then you can claim 3 years of work experience). just my take.
  12. Hi everyone! I beg the question, anyone has just applied for Tassie sponsorship? How's the timeline? Have you got strong interest from employers? I only have family ties. Share your experience here.
  13. hi butros. i think it's a good chance since they already asked you for the 2nd installment. you just need to pay it and it's all good.
  14. <p><p>hi BucksBoy. I saw your post about the commitment statement to ACT.
