I check that everyday :wink: when did you submit? i called 0061 131 881 and they transferred me to skilled department..... Took about 20 mins on hold though.... good luck!!

Hi Shiverpom, I applied 1st April and have had no contact from a case officer. I called DIAC early this morning to see if they could tell me anything as it had been 9 weeks and they told me I was allocated a case officer 26th April! So I can completely relate to how you are feeling! Im much happier now that at least someone is/has looked at my application and its being processed! I have front loaded everything including meds.... so maybe no reason to contact?! Id advise get your meds done as it took a couple of weeks to get a good appointment time! Fingers crossed for you, hope you hear something soon!

They are from Adelaide office and I have their number if I need them! They didnt really advise anything as all I wanted to know is if there was an issue, as it was over the case officer allocation date and others who had submitted after me had case officers! Im now happy to wait and let them contact me if they need to?! I have front loaded everything (I hope) so it makes sense that they havent made contact i SUPPOSE!

I applied 1st April and was waiting waiting waiting for case officer to be allocated.... this morning (9 weeks after submitting) I gave up and called DIAC and found out I had a case officer allocated 6 weeks ago! Also I there are a few docs on my list that say required although I have submitted them but DIAC assured me they have been recieved!

So I finally lost patients and called DIAC this morning to see what happening Case Officer wise...... After 30 mins on hold, I was finally informed that I had a case officer allocated to me 26th April!! Less than 4 weeks after submitting! Anyone else had the same happen? I am assuming as since its been 6 weeks since my case officer allocation, that she does require anything yet?

Hhhmmmmm I'm now even more worried! My application has been 'in progress' for 8 weeks now with all my docs underneath saying received and a few n/a ones saying recommended...... I've just gone onto do my daly check and all the docs have gone and status just says 'application received'!!!! Help!?!?

All the docs I've uploaded have been 'received' pretty much since as soon as I uploaded them! There are a few that still say recommended but they don't apply to my application! It sound funny but the order in which they appear has moved around a bit?? i just want to know if anyone else is past the allocation times and still not heard and weather they have contacted immi? I'm happy if my application is still just being processed but I just wanna hear something!! :err:

I lodged my application for 189 visa on 1st April from the uk and its now past the 8 week allocation period and I've not heard from immi with regards to a case officer being allocated :-( any others in the same boat? Do I contact immi?? was really hoping to hear something as we front loaded all docs so just been waiting doing nothing for 8 weeks!

Nope not heard anything!! It will be 8 weeks on Monday! Do I contact immi and ask if I have a case officier? ​anyone else there submitted around the same time? Or is waiting for case officer past allocation guidelines?

Hi Phillys1980 I feel exactly the same! every weekday before i go to bed and as soon as I wake up im checking my emails thinking that I might hear something! I always wonder what sort of working hours they do :huh: Then come the weekend, im like oh well.... might hear something Monday! And like Rupert says, I know mine has only been 6 weeks since lodgement but its all the unknown....

Hi all, Im new to the forum, but have been watching from the sidelines for a while and I cant seem to find a thread solely for those who lodged their 189 applications in April; there appears to be plenty for 190's. I lodged my application as a general accountant (65 points) on April 1st and am yet to recieve a case officer. Is anyone else in the same boat? I keep seeing threads from people who lodged around similar dates and even more recently and those have had case officers allocated to them :-( I know its only been 6 weeks, and immi say within 8 weekd now........ but...... I am soooo impatient!:twitcy:
