  1. Hi Katy, You need a Degree in order to comply with AHPRA's requirements to register so you will need to do some sort of top up. There is also new requlations with them that you have to meet further requirements of completing 10 caseloading continuity of care experiences which is not included in UK training. Therefore UK trained Midwive's are having to come over on supervised practice. At the minute you won't meet AHPRA's requirements to register as a Midwife so your best bet is to top up to Degree first. Hope this helps x
  2. We shipped our dog bed which was used. We just made sure it was washed and free of dog hair. Hope this helps :cute:
  3. We got ours this morning! We applied 16th Oct. Got a CO 10th December asking for PCC's. Uploaded last night. I uploaded and emailed to the CO so don't know if that made a difference
  4. We got assigned a CO today. Requested national police checks. Hadn't realised I'd only applied for state checks!
  5. lilann, Snaik is quite correct. I too did the same as you, booked chest x-ray, HIV bloods and general medical. However when I got there, she asked me my occupation and advised that I also had to have the Hep B and C bloods done also. I did not get this free and had to pay an extra charge of $99 on the day. It was also required for my 457 visa previously.
  6. We're October 189 applicant-ees!! Good luck everyone! :-)
