Hi All, Couldn't find one for October, although I am a newbie to the forum. 189 Visa application lodged 01/10/2014 front uploaded all documents including police checks. Medicals 11/10/14 now just the waiting game, hoping to make the move 2015! I have read on a few forums about the form 80, I have completed it but not uploaded it. Has anyone else done this? Thanks!
Does anyone know the time scale on a 2nd year working holiday visa i sent my application in with my regional work, all signed off and with a reference. ITs taken a lot longer than i have expected I've been waiting 3 weeks now, with no news whatsoever just the confirmation of a bridging visa. does any body know how long this is going to take, I'm starting to get nervous.
Hi all I was wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or knows much about this...Any advice would be greatly appreciated. My partner has been offered a job on a 457 Visa in Sydney. His company are willing to have me added to it. We however do not class as defacto at the moment. It has been suggested that we 'register our relationship' with the NSW government (automatically making us defacto and voiding the 12 month period usually needed). It has been suggested that we fill these out together in the UK and once he is in Australia he can register us. It will take 28 days for a certificate to be processed and following that we can apply for me to be added onto his 457. What I was wondering was- Do you know hold long this process could take for my visa to be granted? Can I do it while in Australia? i.e. go out on a tourist visa and then be put on a bridging visa. and the touch costs this may incur? Thanks Emma
St kilda to perth posted a topic in Visa ChatHello everybody, I am very new to this forum, and I hope i might get help from the members of this forum. I applied on offshore 457 visa last year and got approval of 457 visa, and I arrived in Australia on 1st of May. I need to know when I need to start my employment with my employer. As I have an agent who is telling me, I applied offshore so I need to start employment in 28 days after arrival in Australia. But immigration website says 90 days but doesnt mentions onshore application or offshore application. My employer is asking me to start bit late, as his office is under renowation. So might take couple of weeks more. I am here with my husband, two kids and sister. And I dont want to take any chance. Please help. As I am getting restless, and panicking, because I dont want to breach my 457 visa contract, and want to stay here and get PR. I would like to request everyone and anyone who knows about 457 visa, and can help me, and may have had a similar situation in past or recently. Looking forward to your reply. Regards Natasha
