Hey everyone, Sorry, not been on this thread for a while; hope everyone is still loving Sydney life? Just to let everyone know, it is my 26th birthday on 30th July so I am planning a night out in Sydney next Saturday (27th July). Not 100% sure where we will be starting but a few of us are definitely up for it, and would be a great opportunity for as many of us as possible to cram into a bar, drink up, meet up and have some fun. The more the merrier so watch this space I will let people know what bar as soon as possible, but if you can keep the evening free will be great to meet some new faces. Hope to meet as many of you as possible, let me know if you are up for it? Danny

If however it is just for the ladies, would it be ok for my girlfriend to join the group, as we have both only just arrived in Sydney 2 days ago and we dont know anyone so will be great to have as many opportunities as possible to meet new people thank you

Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I land in Sydney tomorrow evening for the beginning of our new adventure. I landed a job in the CBD for a contract between 2 and 4 years, but neither of us have been to Sydney before so it's a bit of a jump in the deep end. Nevertheless it's happening now and we were hoping to find out if there are any people on the site that fancy meeting up for drinks over the next few weeks to help ease us into Sydney life? I am 25 and my girlfriend is 26, we are both originally from London and will be living in Manly. I will however be working in the city so anywhere in Sydney for socialising will be good with us, just the chance to meet some other people in a similar situation will be a great help to both of us. If anyone fancies it, or knows of a similar thread/forum etc I should look at for meeting up with people let me know, Thanks
