  2. Unbelievably I received my visa today! I'm ecstatic and a little shell shocked if I'm honest! Obviously now with a little haste I'll be able to get over there and fulfil my AHPRA requirements, thank God. Feeling very lucky right now considering all the trouble people appear to be having with their registration :-)
  3. No I'm in the uk, honk if I hadn't been I'll advised about the visa then I would be there be there by now! I'm just worried about my job ECG they have me starting in September but at this rate I wonder if this will happen at all! Such a nightmare it's one thing after the other! X
  4. I'm in the UK so don't think this is an option due to the expense! I'm an RN DIP HE but I have done my degree in critical care nursing, it's a BA HONS . Would this count? X
  5. Hi guys, I'm having a nightmare with the whole migration thing! I applied for my visa having been told I didn't need a skills assessment, lost my money because obv I did need a skills assessment! I now have my skills assessment and have reapplied for my visa, currently 5 weeks into the wait for this. Trouble now is that my AHPRA loe runs out on the 12th August and having no visa yet I will be unable to fulfill the registration requirements! I applied for an extension on the loe and this was denied! I now will have to reapply for my AHPRA! Under the new regulations how long will this take? Will I have to get everything re certified again or will the originally certified documents be ok, clearly in a year nothing has changed so you'd think it would be straightforward but somehow I feel it will be more complicated! Any advice will be gratefully received, thanks.

  7. Hi All , Today I finally received my skills assessment after waiting anxiously for 13 weeks and two days! I can finally now re apply for my visa! 186 direct entry. Long story but had to withdraw previous application following wrong advice (Currently awaiting news on a refund)! Any tips from fellow appliers? I have done medicals, form 80, police certificates and now skills assessment! Is there anything else I'm missing apart from birth certificates etc? Thank you all
  8. Yay! Got it today! 13 weeks and 2 days! Finally can re apply for visa now!
  9. Just had an email saying the initial review is done and it's been passed to the second officer for review! Fingers crossed I'll have it soon :-)
  10. Ah no! Did you just get a letter or email saying it was fine or did you get contacted to provide further details? My pre assessment was done about 5 weeks ago!
  11. No it was the people I'm going to be working for. I've done this independently. Hope it works out for you, sure it will.
  12. I had contact roughly 6 weeks after my application went in. I applied for a 186 visa without a skills assessment after wrongly being advised I didn't need one. They gave me 28 days to upload it but I appealed and this time went over roughly 2 weeks. I then heard from them saying I had to upload it by midnight that night or they would refuse my application. Other than that I could withdraw the application but I would lose the application fee £3345! I had to withdraw the application as my skills assessment still isnt done but am in the process of applying for a refund (not hopeful though), I will then re apply when the skills assessment finally comes back. Hopefully they will allow you to rectify (if it's possible) any mistake and comtinue your application. Good luck.

The assessment don't come back till end if May at the earliest ! Does anyone know if you get your money back if you withdraw your application? Brief history to explain nightmare ... Applied for visa subclass 286 as direct entry on Jsnuary 31st 2014, nomination was at beginning of January! No skills assessment as advised I rugby need one! Sponsors then advised 5 days later that I did need skills assessment! Hence mad panicky I get one before visa granted! Until this email this morning ! Help ... Any advice gratefully received! 22. Hi everyone, Just sent off my ANMAC assessment forms! Anyone been lucky enough to get theirs back under the specified 12 weeks? Gutted at the mo! Already applied for my visa having originally been told I didn't need it!
  23. I was told that AHPRA and skills assessment were the sAme thing :-( Lots of confusion they both require exactly the same documents etc! My AHPRA was granted August 2013! Wish I'd known this then it would have been sorted! I was told by an agency they were the same!
  24. Fantastic timeline! I'm having a nightmare with my application! Originally told I didn't need a skills assessment I got an email yesterday telling me I did need one ! Already lodged my visa application do it could be refused on this basis I'm now told! Gutted! Spent all yesterday trying to organise skills assessment with ANMAC! Will take 12-16 weeks :-( . I'm really hoping it's back before decision is made on visa so I can upload it! Any advice would be greatly appreciated the whole process us so stressful and drawn out! Nomination lodged 2/1/14 Application lodged 31/1/14 Form 80 and other documents uploaded 8/2/14 Medicals booked for 6/3/14 Now IELT booked for 8/3/14 No MA applying as direct entry!
  25. It wanted me to input my name, TRN and sponsoring unit name! I was inputting it all correctly but omitting the place! Simple but enough to prevent recognition of my application!
