  1. Hi Patel, I agreed with what Ozmaniac said. I was in the same situation 2 years ago. I was on visa 457 and applied RSMS through another employer. And I worked for my old employer until my PR was granted. I rang immigration department and they told me that once I leave my current employer, I need to apply bridging visa in order to stay in Australia. However, I won't be able to work on bridging visa. Hope this will help.
  2. My partner is struggling finding an IT Business Intelligence job in Adelaide. He has been looking for job through seek, newspaper, apply direct, and knock at the companies' door for the past 6 months. Unfortunately, he doesn't has any luck. Perhaps because he is not white? He has good qualifications and experiences in help desk and Business Intelligence. We are thinking whether we should move to Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane.
  3. ~I applied visa 187 and 457 last year (mid of October). ~Employer nomination approved in April 2014. ~Visa 457 approved in end of March 2014. ~Visa 187 approved in 15th April 2014. ~Teacher Registration Approved in mid of March 2014. ~It took 7 months to get my PR. ~Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher/ Pre-primary School Teacher

  5. Hi blossom79, My job code is CSOL 241111 (Early Childhood). I have a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, Australia. Therefore, I am not sure whether I should start applying for skills assessments. The process when applying the skills assessment is very long.
