  1. You very welcome ETP. No she won't and even if she then you shouldn't be worried about it. As a matter of fact, medical result comes with in 24hrs min, max 48hrs and medical is the last requirement so what is left after this....guess nothing except VISA GRANT. According to CO's once file is complete they send it for Decision which basically goes in a Queue, so from Queue to Visa Grant it's roughly 1-2 weeks. So please don't hesitate to contact your CO everyday even twice a day Hope & pray you get your grant soon. Best, Aussie Girl Bay
  2. you give AHC/CO a call everyday till you get your visa grant!! Best, AGB QUOTE=ETP;1936205877]I think AHC is sleeping these days. It is assumed that female applicants get the grant within a month or two after medicals, but I didnt have heard any news of grants for female applicants, except for the one courageous lady who talked to AHC and made her way, since March. AHC just keeps saying that the case is within 12 months processing timelines!
  3. Don't be frustrated, it's just a week..they will definitely get back in few days. Good Luck AGB
  4. yeah it is valid for 1year...'For immigration purposes a police certificate is deemed to be valid for 12 months from the issue date' Best, AGB
  5. wow great Bzness... you did amazingly well...good luck & have fun!! Best, Aussie Girl Bay
  6. Hi.. there is as such no 'Decision Ready Visa' or 'married for 3 years' condition for Applicant who apply for Partner Visa if they are legally married it is acceptable, all they have to provide is Evidences etc. This applies to Defacto Visa applicant as well. When an Applicant sends all the 'Required Documents' as per the Check List then it is considered as 'Decision Ready Application'. Best, Aussie Girl Bay
  7. Hello.. 1: How soon can we expect an acknowledgement letter? How soon can we expect a case officer to be allocated? Somewhere between 5-20 days you will get acknowledgement letter, in most cases CO is assigned at the time of lodgement. 2: Also, I applied though a migration agent here in Australia. So wondering if that is going to make a difference. The migration agent pushed for a decision ready application and so he submitted everything except for the medical. Guess it won't make much difference but as your file seems 'Decision Ready Application' so it would be less of hassle for CO, so basically saved overall time by asking extra documents. 3: If they are happy with the document they go to the next step. If they still see something missing, they ask for it and again put you back in the queue. Yeah in a way this is right as if they require any further document/prove they will contact Applicant, give him/her 28 days so during this time AHC just can't sit & wait for the docs as they are processing other applicant cases at the same time so yeah it delays a bit. 4: The only thing i think of is that they could ask for is the FRC as I have seen on the forums they do ask for this. This however has not been mentioned on the partner visa checklist so lets see. It is mentioned on Partner Visa Checklist, Form 54- Family Composition Form is Family Registration Certificate (FRC) this is the link: http://www.pakistan.embassy.gov.au/files/islm/120822-pg9-partner.pdf 5:The other thing that could cause the delay is me and wife are pashtuns from Khyber pukhtunkhwa She is from Peshawar Hmmm it won't be an issue as Applicant is female so perhaps she won't be going through length security checks. Good Luck!!! Aussie Girl Bay

  11. Hi ETP, glad you got your Visitor Visa, when did you apply for Partner Visa? Best, AGB
  12. Basically Sponsored Family Visa is Subclass 600 which is being processed from Australia-it's a good option as it's a pretty easy form. There is another Visitor Visa which you may consider only if your wife wish to apply from Pakistan. This is the link: http://www.pakistan.embassy.gov.au/islm/120822pg3diac.html In the Checklist- Additional Document, applicant has to provide evidence of 'incentive and authority to return to your country of residence', (Applicant has to be outside Australia when visa grant) so considering this point, Employment letter/pay slip are good evidences if Applicant is working, if not then usually people give this reasoning: 'My Partner Visa is in progress and I will definitely come back before my visa expires' well, there is no harm in writing this but if the agenda is only to get the visa, arrive Australia and then wait for visa grant, once it's granted, exit to any neighbouring country and re-enter then in me opinion this actually gives the High Commission a very bad/negative impression, that's why I told you to make sure she gets back. I know sometimes there are financial or personal concerns but AHC don't appreciate it, so it's better to be honest and straight. This is only me opinion. Good Luck. AGB
  13. Hi, you may consider Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) - Sponsored Family Stream, I guess there is a little bond (AUD 5,000-15,000)which sponsor has to pay as this will be processed from Australia, 95% Positive Outcome However, if you opted the Visitor Visa from Pakistan then please make sure she returns to the country before her visa grant. Good luck!! AGB
  14. For male applicant process is bit longer, roughly 10-12 months ..you never know may be you get your visa early good luck AGB
  15. Hi, Medical is probably the last in the list so you should expect to get your visa in a month or less after medical.. good luck. In b/w when did you apply for the visa? Best, AGB
  16. Wow..it's pretty interesting to see that it was YOU who started judging fellows not me. You are really not in your senses as it's pretty obvious in this message, 'All of us are sharing our pain here...(i feel better after sharing and knowing others are also in the same boat)' IS THIS NOT WHAT WE ALL ARE EXPLAINING FROM THE BEGININING?? now all of a sudden sharing your thoughts make you better so this is how all others were/are doing, SO WHAT'S THE FUSS ALL ABOUT?? Oh are you trying to say, you can bicker as much as you want???????? You wrote: 'I have not heard anyone on this forum say that how can we avoid this happening in the future? everyone is thinking for themselves not realizing the problem?' SO WHAT?????this thread is 'TimeLine (309-Spouse Visa) ' not 'How to shorten the timeline for Pakistanis' If you want to share thoughts on this then please feel free to start a new thread and find a solution which I am sure you will and every Pakistani who apply for Partner Visa will get it in less than 2 weeks...hahaaaaa Answer to this: 'Why someone would go from 3 months maximum spouse visa processing time to 9 months?' I guess if you ever bothered to read timeline for other countries then you will learn that this has changed all over, some countries are under High Risk and so the processing time has gone bit higher. It's not Applicant's choice to maximize the time period from 3 -9 months but this is how the process is. In last: 'just deal with the fact that it is taking 6 to 9 months and tell your spouse about it all night if you like' I already knew this fact clearly & remained very cool & calm, I never gave my husband mental torture by telling him all night the time line but I bet this is how you are dealing with it & crying every night & torturing your wife to death Aussie Girl Bay
  17. Thanks XaraBB, You saved me a lot of typing, I wanted to write all the challenges pertinent to Partner Visa but honestly couldn't be bothered ta
  18. Hi I am unable to understand what you trying to say??? We all are pretty much aware of the time line & challenges associated to this visa (you will get to understand the word 'CHALLENGE' once you apply for this visa ...This or any other similar forums are formed for people's comfort. If anyone's post make you bit uncomfortable then may I please suggest you to UNSUBSCRIBE yourself from this thread and let others share their thoughts without being judged. Thanks Aussie Girl Bay
  19. You can contact her by email (use the same email address through which you received acknowledgement letter) do mention applicant Full Name, Date of Birth & Case Reference Number. You can also contact CO through Phone, simply tell operator your Case Officer name. Ta
