Aaaaaaahhhhhhhh #frustrated, I applied to AHPRA on 12 th February and they contacted me on 3rd April to say they had not received my NMC verification status or completion certificate of my nursing from 20 yrs ago. I have now been emailing questions and have only a reply to again say they have not had my NMC verification status and completion certificate and they have not answered any of my questions. Does anyone know if I can chase up a recorded delivery re the NMC status and what are they looking for in a completion certificate? The NMC have said they will email AHPRA with my NMC verification status but the guy has never replied back been to that. Starting to get so frustrated Please help !!!!!!!!!!!! Sharon

I applied to AHPRA 8 wks ago and they are waiting for my NMC registration status but this was sent on 29/1/13. Does anyone have any idea if they are sticklers with this?? NMC are saying they definitely sent it so AHPRA will have it somewhere in their files, it's so frustrating as I am unable to check this out !!!

Do you need to apply to both ANMAC and AHPRA? I have received my IELTS results and wondering Which one to send my documents off too! I was speaking to a nurse who worked with the Australian agency HCA at Glasgow SECC exhibition and she said I only needed to get AHPRA initially. Oh a very confused Sharon !!!

Hi there, I am a Nurse Practitioner in Scotland and plan to move to Oz next year if possible with my husband and children. I tried to complete the ANMAC application form, however it states that i need an English language test before i can send in the skills assessment application to ANMAC. Can anyone clarify this for me that this is a definate requirement? I also read it is the academic test that is required and not the general test. Thanks A very frustrated Sharon
